Thanks High Tide for the opportunity to lead this morning. YHC agreed to do this before knowing that YHC was also going to be filling in as Q at Joust the day before which meant three days in a row. Normally, that’s no problem, but it’s a little problematic as YHC is trying to get rid of a nasty case of plantar faschitis. So this morning when the feet hit the floor and the pain in the left heel was almost unbearable, YHC thought “Why did I have to agree to lead today?!”
Thankfully though, the pain diminished enough to hopefully give the pax a decent Thanksgiving weekend workout.

Sprint & back to 25, 50, 75, 100 with LBC’s (10,20,30,40)

Same with burpees (5,10, 15, 20)

Mary led by several members of the pax leading their favorite exercise

Run a 400 with with called exercise at half point then head to Home side bleachers

Dips x 20
Derkins x 20
Centipede Run (make your way from one end of bleachers to the other going up/down the stairs & return to start point)
Rinse & Repeato

Back to track for one last 400 with 10 burpees at the 200 then head home for COT

Thanks to the guys who showed up on Black Friday. YHC thought it might be a workout of 1 but Hops HC’d the day before and YHC guilted Stagecoach into crawling out of the #fartsack to post.

Off Campus Tour

18 (or so) PAX bore the 25 degree bone chilling icebox for another Monday down payment.

The Thang:
Run to CAC bottom of the parking lot for warm up: SSH, Imperial Walker, Merkins, plank jacks, mountain climbers, Peter Parkers (all X20).

Run back to COT, cross Carmel, karaoke right and left and commence neighborhood watch program.

Over the river and through the woods, coming to complete stop at stop signs of course. 1st stop: 10 burpees OYO. 2nd stop, plank, breathe.

Run up Sharon Amity to RTS. Grab some wall: 25 dips, 20 wall jumps.

RTS campus loop: 20 sumo squats on one end, 20 Merkins on the other. All You Got (AYG).

Mosey to Carmel and jailbreak back to COT.

Moleskin:

COT through neighborhood and back was 1.5 mi. Tclaps to Gunny and Agony for leaving it all at RTS, #AYG. Hops took the medal for most treblefarts during the Mary, #holdyourbreath. Tclaps to Kirk for a hard push on the jailbreak, #AYG.

So last as YHC is headed to the fartsack, I realized that I had no workout planned. YHC’s 2.0, Yoda, said “Hey, Dad, just audible the whole workout!” So that’s what YHC did. Good call Yoda. #NoWeinkeNeeded.

During COP, while doing Imperial Walkers, YHC’s mind began to wonder. For some unknown reason, YHC involuntarily called out the cadence for the 16th rep as if it was our last for the IW’s. YHC has no idea why, but the Pax were a little perplexed.

After the pax made it to the top of Grandmother Mtn the first time, it was reported that Header, a Pastor, was praying out loud for the pain to end. While YHC did not hear Header’s prayer, it does come from a very reliable source.

Announcements:
Charlotte South keeps adding workouts so fast that it’s hard to keep up. If you like the Charlotte Christian site, come out this Wednesday to The Charge which meets at Providence Day School – intersection of Sardis and Rama. Just 5 mins north of CCS for the #Southies who are directionally challenged when traveling north of Hwy 51.

Special welcome to FNG Big Ben for his first post. Hope you come back out.
YHC thought it would add a little variety to let some of the pax lead us in a few exercises. It worked well and may use this again. Not sure Stagecoach will be asked again after the 1-Legged Burpees though……
During Mary, lots of #MumbleChatter was heard from a few whose feelings were hurt that The Cougar and Field of Dreams got to lead 2 exercises each when they only got to lead one. #CryUsARiver
Going over to Swiper’s house brought back nightmare’s of last week’s hammy hurting chasers. Watch out for those next time he leads…..

YHC wants to thank the guys who made a point to come out this morning. It was a special day for me with it being my 1 Year F3 Anniversary. I have reflected a lot on the impact that F3 has had on my life. While I get accused by family and non-F3 friends for being #Addicted to F3, it’s not just the 1st F that has me coming out several times a week. It’s the 2nd F and the 3rd F. I have made it a point to not go to the same workouts every week. Since we live in a #Tweener location, I am as close to many #Metro workouts as #Area 51 sites. So I’ve tried to circulate around to as many as possible over the last year. Not only does that keep me from getting into a rut, it has blessed me with the opportunity to get to know so many more men. It has allowed me to get to know men from different walks of life and at different life stages. From F3 has been borne a frienship with a younger member of the Pax who asked me to mentor him 2 months ago. That has become one of the most fulfilling things that the Lord has allowed me to do recently. He thinks that he is learning from me, but I am also learning from him. And feeling a sense of responsibility to a young man who looks up to me (for some reason that I still cannot understand), this has made me more intentional about being in the Word and in fellowship with Jesus.
Lastly, I’ve been blessed to form some strong friendships with other men as well. Their friendship & encouragement helped me through a tough time when I busted my paw at the #IceRun in January. I am grateful for you guys – you know who you are. Aye

So when YHC crawled out of the #Fartsack this morning he could hardly walk – #PlantarFascitis. YHC mentioned this to a couple of the pax as we were running and their response was, “So why didnt you change the workout?” YHC thought about around 0500 but was just too tired to come up with another game plan before posting.

Great work by all today. The running up the sidewalk to the parking lot was a little tougher after doing a bunch of burpees, merkins, etc.
Kudos to Robinhood, our War Daddy. Robinhood, way to push yourself, Brother. You are an inspiration to many.
