Centurion Anniversary

It was cold, wet, and miserable. Eight dedicated men showed up to celebrate the birthday of the centurion. YHC must admit, I would not have posted if I had not already requested to Q.

YHC had an escalating plan in mind which quickly fell apart.

Run to lower practice field. Line up along imaginary line for suicides.
Set #1:
• Sprint ½ length of field, back to start
• Sprint full length of field, back to start
• Sprint full length of field, back to start
• Sprint ½ length of field, back to start

Set #2:
• Lunge walk to mid field, bear crawl reminder of field.
• Repeat

Climb out of the muddy practice field to parking lot next to football stadium.
Partner up with same partner

Frosty V-Day

4 Brave pax fought their way out of the fart sack to post this morning.  YHC warmed up on his own by freeing a sad clown’s car from grips of the snow and ice.

YHC may have called it a few minutes early, but nobody complained.

Very short COT with one 4 pax.
Discussion began about where to get breakfast and 2F. Unfortunately Mighty Mite had to remind YHC to close with the ball of man.

The Q was obviously winging it this morning, not knowing what the conditions were going to allow. It was great to get out of the house and get some 1st and 2nd F. Very humbling for the Q to come in last for most exercises #onmywayback.

Moleskin:

YHC was confused by the lack of mumble chatter about 10 Burpees per minute for 10 minutes.  Probably just as confused as the Pax was by doing 10 merkins per minute for 10 minutes.  Problem was quickly resolved.  Burpees are even more deflating when RunStopper finishes them in half the time. #rediculus

Welcome FNG “Gutter Ball”, solid name.  Hope to see you in the gloom again soon.

It is great to be back with the pax and I feel fortunate be able to lead once again.  With that being said, it is time for some of the pax to start stepping up for your first Q.  I am happy to split the workout with any of you, as will many of the other seasoned Q’s.  It is not as difficult as it might seem, you will actually wonder why you had waited so long in the first place.  I will be setting up a online Q sheet soon.

Head to the unofficial “warm up lot”.

Line up for a lunge walk Indian run (not a good time at all).

Jog to the front picnic tables.

Partner up for upside down flutter kicks x 20

Flap Jack 2 times

Jog to the back parking lot.

Partner 1 lap around the lot, partner 2 (20 LBCs/20 Merkins/10 Burpees)

Rinse and repeat 3 times.

Head to the back door for everyone’s favorite circuit! Mumble Chatter Groan…

Wall Walk/Bear Crawl up Ramp/10 Donkey Kicks/ Lunge Walk to the stairs (3 laps).

Sprint down and back stopping for Knee Ups x10 at each marker.

Plank when finished.

Rinse and repeat with Merkins x10 at each stop.

Legs 6 inches off the floor for the entire time.

One minute protractor

25 heels to the heavens.

One minute an stretch on the elbows.

Escargot lead:

Divide into two groups.

Group one takes one lap around the parking lot, group two does 15 burpees and 15 merkins.

Rinse and repeat with 10/10, plank until other group returns.

Rinse and repeat with 5/5, plank until other group returns.

Jog to the back of the lot.

Dragon walk down the hill.  Not a good idea…..

Backwards lunge walk back up the hill.

One last lap around the parking lot (all you got).

 

Mole Skin:

  • Great downpainment today, I am going to need to look into the fact that I am able to do less and less merkins instead of more.
  • As RunStopper suggested, we will need to work on the dragon walk on flat ground before we jump to down hill.  My Bad Brothers.
  • The squat and back bend sequence was brutal, but we will need to work that in some more.

T-Claps to Geraldo who took a stuntman type fall on the sprints and rolled and got back up in stride!!! Abacus looked like he had just played a game of rugby at the end. Callaway was an absolute pansy on the belly crawls!!!

Assistant principle thought we were Seniors at CCHS pulling a crank, since there was no school today! To our relieve he did not call security or the POPO on us.

Run stopper was reliving the GORUCK Challenge, by channeling Cadre Dan to make everyone get on the ground and belly crawl, and when people were cheating… turnaround and start over! Truly epic #painment
