First Maul of 2019

Ten men showed up to sweat at the Maul on the first Wednesday of the year.

After a short disclaimer and Frehley’s first “That’s what she said” of 2019 (at a work out at least,) we were off.

After a short mosey to the front of Target, we circled up:

  • 20 Side Straddle Hops
  • 20 Imperial Walkers
  • 15 Low Slow Squats
  • 20 Mountain Climbers
  • 20 Alternating Shoulder Tap

Next, a delightful mosey to the church. 3 laps around the church, with a called exercise at each speed bump. There are 10 speed bumps.

  • Round 1- Burpees (The first time I have ever called burpees at a workout
  • Round 2 LBC’s
  • Round 3- Carolina Dry Docks

Another short mosey to the top of the parking deck next to Brown Bag

  • 25 Shoulder Presses
  • Left leg out 10 seconds, right leg out 10 seconds
  • 25 Shoulder presses
  • 5 Donkey Kicks OYO
  • 25 Shoulder Presses
  • Balls to the wall for 3 10 counts (30 seconds)

Mosey to the middle of the parking lot, we alternated lunges and bear crawls. Madame Tussauds is still the master of the bear crawl.
