Spearhead Pizza Delivery!

Four pax entered Spearhead at standard Thursday launch of 4:45 am.

Mission: deliver Cadre Kevin’s favorite type of pizza back to CMS by 6:15. What is that you ask? Hint: it involves sand and “Brixx”

Total distance of 4.7 miles this morning with a missed time hack by 3 minutes. No punishment since it was a day to taper back for tomorrow night’s F3 Custom GORUCK Challenge.

Lots of fun chatter. Schedule C is wondering if you can sign up for the 5k at the launch point and double down it with the Challenge!

Moleskin: It was my first Q back since arrivals of 2.0s. Looking forward to getting back in the full swing of Spearhead!

 Moleskin

Nice morning for all PAX to come together. Sharing is caring, was todays theme as bringing you own challenge weight, PAX didn’t know we would all share in the pain, passing around a dose of pain.

Sharing kettle bells to distribute weight to distribute the load was fun. While making 14 laps around the track was a good idea for Wolfman on his Q, I think the PAX had another idea in mind. Thanks for sharing the load on Q, and YoungLove to takeover at the end. Getting smoked on the jack webz and moving kettle bell mercans was a new one! #TCLAPS to all!

Moleskin:

SPEARHEAD  almost went dark this morning, but what better way to work off that turkey leg and pumpkin pie? Good old daisy logs were a great rendition. I almost forgot we had logs its been so long that I’ve seen them on a Friday. Checkpoint should have set up stand in the parking lot, could have had three deer in one shot from our view on the field! Final challenge of the morning was locating Culkin’s car keys…on the 20 yard line.

If you’re returning today, come on out to Hoff’s workout at Olympus tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM. I hear kettle bells are involved.

Amazing work this morning. Hoff almost did not escape the Fart Sack, but glad he made it to take a turn on the RR tie! Our ruck came “this close” to a big change when the car delivering newspapers almost got rear ended @ 45 mph. We would have been ready, but thankful it was all avoided. Guess we look distracting when carrying coupons in early gloom…

  • Nice work, with a shout out to Angler – RESPECT.
  • SPEARHEAD is an intense F3 style workout with bricks in tow. It is not just geared to GORUCK, although we may be crazy enough to spare a kidney for our rucks #Earlymorningforthehoff.
  • We learned something interesting from the Hoff around mile 4:  “I gave about $300 for my ruck… oh, and the kidney”.  WHAT?
  • SPEARHEAD launches from Carmel Middle School tomorrow at 0530 – come out for a ruck friendly F3 boot camp.  The “One Kidney” Hoff is Q.
  • Come out to Carmel Presbyterian Church tomorrow morning at 0510 for one mile of extra credit ruck in and out from the workout.
