A Hot Mess

The day dawned, or at least it was trying to dawn, very warm and muggy. Summer is upon us no matter what the calendar says.

YHC was back in town from seven days of roller coasters and ready to throw the PAX for a loop or two, some running of the bulls but hopefully no drops or crashes.

After the Q finally got all his stuff together: his SWATCH Watch, his Life Alert arm band and who knows what else, we were off…

After a short Hairband Mile we circled up at the mini track for COP:

15-SSH
15-Imperial Walkers
15-Merkins
15-Hillbillies

Run back to the start point and partner up for cumulative sets. Partner one runs back to the track (we just left there!), partner two does the following then you flap jack until done:

150 – Squats
150 – Seal Jacks
200 – LBC’s
50 – Burpees

I threw in some stretching in between the last two sets to let us (the Q) catch our breathe. Next up…

He Hate Me, She Hate Me, We All Hate, er, Me!

Sets of 20, 15, then 10 of:

Dips
Derkins
Step Ups

Time for people’s chair, and some Mary and we’re done!

A Hot Mess Moleskin

Wow what a difference two weeks make. Last time I posted at F3 was two weeks prior and the humidity and heat hadn’t hit yet. Wednesday at my first post of the week I was sweating like a, well, hot mess! I think we were all a hot mess by the end of this one.

Amazing job by FNG Mayday who looked like he’s been doing this forever. Glass Joe blazing fast as always.

Good to see Happy come back again after just joining F3 last week. Strong work Par, your football coach will be impressed with how much stronger you are than the rest.

Thanks for letting me lead, I love hearing Glass Joe and Hairband complain, I know I’m doing something right.

We only complain out of love. Well, and because we are soaking wet. Ok, mostly because we are soaking wet. Still, good Q. Enjoyed it

Hair Band

I got home to get a quick (cool) shower to get over to Donut Hole’s to get the dishwasher installed and after I got out my body still hadn’t cooled down. Nasty morning!

July 4 we converge, July 3 is at 7:00 I think instead of 5:30.

Nope, Saturday at 7:00 as well.

There is one down the road on Wednesday called Dromedary at 5:30.

Thanks Drop Thrill, I was hoping the website was incorrect and didn’t have all the workouts listed accurately. Hoping for more times. I’ll pass on the info. His name is Hoodie. He got named today at Tradition.

Hey brother, we would love to have him out. As DT mentioned “Overdrive” Friday and “Outland” Saturday are the closest, “Dromedary” on Wednesday is at Marvin Ridge H.S. but is a little further out.

We are also discussing starting a Tuesday or Wednesday soon which we are leaning toward being a gear/kettlebell workout around Indian Trail. Obviously the more we have get plugged in the quicker we can get that going. Thanks for EHing him!

I’m out of pocket this week but we have a great group of PAX that will welcome him in.

I just ran across this post. Good to see that Hoodie is a regular now. So many get EHed and never come back or only post a few times.
