Today Sparta didn’t happen, that’s because it’s only Tuesday but the good Lord knows that if you make a typo at F3 there will be hell to pay & there gonna get you for it (*they’re)….and they should!
Instead I lead Fast Twitch.
Ran to Lakeside Drive via Providence Rd to find some hills. Warmup at United Faith during the 2 mile pre-run. Old man creaks. Joker did not touch the ground.
3x sprint the circle at Alpine Dr then 1x up the big hill in that neighborhood where “Modern House Chester” watched and chatted with us both on the up and down hill with a cup of coffee in hand – asked him to run with us when he bragged that he was about to go to the gym….any minute now…oh wait, gotta feed the dog, gotta take the trash out, crap it’s 8:05 gotta get ready for work…he prolly didn’t make it to the gym.
Run home through Prov Plantation through the Ghost Runner route and one run up Smokerise hill to make sure we took the full hour.
Joker had plans of his own to get to 7 miles. This guys Strava progress is a straight line across…never misses a mile, never goes over or under.
Alf was flying today…the rumors are true, you can be 50+ years old and not be a complete loser.
Mr Brady, Retread and DW were hauling as well and the entire group was together the entire morning. No drops.
Ductwork drove the company shaggin wagon into work and almost killed someone on the way in. I hear if you get hit by him you get free AC repairs for life, so might be worth it.
Astro and TL met us at the end after their marathon training along with the relentless Benny who is working slowly to build back up some miles. T-claps for showing up.

My wife went on a run today with some ladies and said “it was so much fun running and talking with other people” and I was like, “yes welcome to my life, and, can I have a sandwich?”
