Decks in the rain

It was wet. We hit the parking decks for 5 exercise stations, ramp climbs and some burpees.
FNG hung in there, but he was used to the Cross Fit 12 Min AMRAP and the 45 minutes did him in! He did bring the obligatory FNG water bottle so there is that.

The rest of the workout occurred right here under the canopy. YHC had set up four pain stations across the walkways to leverage for the workout. Originally, I had planned for 5 PAX so that we could have a runner as our timer. But with only three PAX to speak of, modifications were necessary. So rather than use a runner/timer, we opted to do circuits of 25 exercises at each station and rotate through.

WARMUP: Find the most Zen place in front of the AC hotel. Do some SSHs and lunges side lunges and more nonsense. THE THANG: Find Zen moments of 1 minute meditation in plank. Rotate to next level of deck and big boy and squats looking out over the beautiful skyline. Repeat to floor 7 and reverse on way down to 4th floor. Take smokey stairs to basement and pose with graffiti. Line up for sprints. 80% to rolling to 100%. Luckily 100 %of 80 is still 80% of 100. Repeat until yhc strained hamstring. Roulette just smashed it today doing 3 second planks. Wild Turkey felt better about his feelings. Hawkeye ain’t got time to listen complaining and only likes merkins. Rudy can blanking sprint. He showed up late and came up with awesome exercises. He even stole my gloves. Very proud of him because not many 16 year olds can do this. Strong and fun workout delivered! WARMUP: Started before the Q but took another 10 minutes due to it being 19 degrees! THE THANG: Mosey to bricks. Do a bunch of curls rows skull crushers and other stuff. Mosey to find more bricks. Flappy birds and Bruce Lee/Mason merkins were invented. Mosey to playground also running with arms in air like you just don’t care! MARY: nope because cold ANNOUNCEMENTS: COT:
