A Tale of Two Tails

For the 14 who posted: It was only the worst of times.  No best of times to be found.

Tail 1:  the smug doe who doesn’t even have the courtesy to raise its smug white tail to alert the rest of the smug deer that a fierce biped predator is approaching.  [Deer thought bubble]: “Look at that sad creature coming up the hill. I am gonna sit here a minute and see if he collapses because I’ve never heard those sounds before……Nope, taking too long.  I am going to eat those pansies over there.”.

Tail 2:  Board shorts as jock strap.  That’s all I am gonna say.

Kirk on Q next week and he promises to stay away from….you know.  #DingDangDong.

Sound off if you feel the need.

This is all starting to feel normal. What does that say about me?

All you are missing is some Bigfoot footage and an onsite showing of the Star Wars Holiday Special. Next week, a 12 pack of Capri Suns for anyone who gets actual footage.

TR – I do not know. I have no idea actually, nor did I make any promises. But yeah, we will run next week.

BTW, I never saw the mysterious Chester. I did see the deer and loved that Griswold-worthy flag pole. Slow, painful welcome back to F3.

I’ll post next week if we got a boombox up top with Dre’s “keep them heads ringin'” on repeat at 11. #dingdangdong

Thanks for your leadership TR – great work out today. The only tail I saw was the bushy white one. And by that I mean the deer. That may have been because I craned my neck and head so far to the right to avoid peripheral vision of that property that I almost was left with torticollis. Oh, and I also saw all of you as you passed me, some more than once. But it’s not a race (at least not to me)and I achieved my PR for distance despite doing it in the hills. That was a nice surprise. Felt great to finish. Thanks to all for encouragement. Now I have a goal to make it further and further before being passed, and to keep avoiding you know who… It’s always great to be with you men. Great work today!
