We have Intel!

We have Intel!

21 men of widely varying ages braved the relatively tropical 27 degree weather to jump start their Super Bowl weekend readiness.  The support and positive mojo of the PAX helped propel the novice Q with newfound confidence to lead in the regular rotation.

  • Round 1:  Bear crawl from Home to 1st and 2nd to 3rd; Crabwalk from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to home.  20 CDDs at 1st & 3rd; 20 Sister Mary Catherine’s at 2nd & Home

Finished with Mary (in cadence):

  • LBCs x 50
  • Low, (not so) slow flutter x 20
  • Dollies x 20

The Moleskin:

The PAX endured the Gloom well this morning and great effort was put out by all.  Welcome to our FNG Eviction – we hope you’ll join us again!  Tadpole added an unplanned level of difficulty for 3 poor downwind souls with a crop dusting outburst during our baseball diamond segment.  We are pleased to inform that no permanent damage was reported.  Runstopper piloted his private jet back from an Asian trip earlier in the week; as usual, there was no evidence of jet lag (with the exception of a huge yawn on the baseball diamond – brother are you tired or bored?).  Plenty of grumbling was overheard by the Qs on the 11s, and the LBCs in cadence x50 were not a crowd favorite.  However all endured, and while they may feel it later today, will be better because of it.  It was a pleasure to serve you today.

Announcements:

  • Special birthday workout at the Rock to be Q’d by Iron Horse himself NEXT Saturday (2/8)
  • BRR signups and training in full effect. See Baracus.
  • Wednesday/Thursday tutoring needs more men.  Please see website for details.
  • Canned food donations will be collected by Salt Lick at the Arboretum HT TODAY!

Sorry to have missed Intel’s maiden voyage as Q. Sounds like pain was well dispensed.
Good to have an FNG in the mix, too. Keep EH’ing folks fellas.

Great workout guys. Intel wasted no time getting the heart rate up during his circuitous warmup run. He and Hannibal kept it coming with lots of running and hills. Good stuff.

I don’t think my form was very good on the “merchins”.
