Although there was confusion about the route, where we would start or finish, 6 PAX launched from the Blakeney fountains at the appointed 5:15am start time. Little did we know that when we crossed Rea Rd, a 7th PAX was coming in hot, delayed because of a long stop light, cell phone and gastrointestinal issues. Good thing Bratwurst posted the route the day before on his ride home from Savannah.
Crossing Rea Rd we ventured through Paper Jam’s hood to Williams Pond Rd, Elm, Bryant Farms Rd, down Parks Farm Lane and back to the launch point. We made it back in time to see Madison running in from the opposite direction.
Paper Jam led us in a stretch to finish out the morning.
MOLESKIN
Bunker, Wingman and Bratwurst led the way as par for the course. Paper Jam and No Regurts enjoyed a 2nd F pace and returned to the AO to find Bunker, Bratwurst and Wingman thoroughly enjoying Backstreet Boys. Then the rain came which made a perfect segue to our broga. A debate ensued as to whether Backstreet Boys or Jewel should be the official music of Blakovery. Swedish Chef must be disappointed that he missed that discussion having to leave early. Never a dull moment on Monday morning.
Sort of. It’s part of the disclaimer (solid disclaimer given of course), but since the PAX wanted to work hard, no modifications were needed on this beautiful morning. Truthfully, I was just listening to this song in the car and couldn’t come up with a creative title.
Also, Frack literally begged me to write this because there is nothing that gives him greater satisfaction then reading backblasts and reminiscing over his workouts.
Warm Up:
Mosey through the parking lot and to the refreshment area
IC: SSH x 20, Plank jacks x 20, Peter Parker x 20, Elbow Plank until tired, Merkins x 10

Run to start; 2 MOM to end.
Moleskin:
It was good to see everyone pushing themselves out there this morning. The bleachers at the end were rough. Not overly far with a little less than 3 miles, but we were constantly moving.
Somehow, Shampoodle broke free from the Lawson clown car to make it out solo. I won’t tell BC and MB if you won’t.
Beltway escaped pulling an Orville in the first 15 min and recovered nicely, finishing strong.
Kilo working hard to make weight, sorry we didn’t lift really heavy things. Fuse Box, as always, rocking the Linus towel like a boss and much improved from his FNG days.
Posse, Gatorcub, Big Tuna, solid as usual. Actually more than solid, these guys are all getting sneaky fast.
And Frack was leading the pack in every exercise, never complained once and stated that this was the best Q he has ever been to.
COT:
Insane Inflatable 5k; 11/4/17; see Posse for details; other F3 events coming up as well, see Posse again for details
Gatorcub took us out
At 0515 of Tuesday, the PAX of Swift will search for the Green in Ballantyne. Not the putting green. Not the green with Ben Franklin on it. The Green with the fountain, social tent, lazy curve (on one side), low traffic, long straight aways, passable speed bumps, and cones that appear out of nowhere as long as the cone police don’t repossess them.
The THANG:
Fairly certain One Eye asked YHC about 4 months ago to Q DMZ today. Glad I checked the Q calendar because I completely forgot. Had to wrestle a Monday from the M. She does FIA. Rain threatened and then fell. Disclaimer offered to the group. Off we went.
Mosey down Camilla and onto Carmel MS campus around the left side of the building. Past the Camp #Gladiator cones, which numbered somewhere in the hundreds. Serious beats pushing out of the leader’s ride. It looked like they had 2 or 3 peeps. They were using the cones.
COP – all IC
IW x 15
MC x 15
Merkin x 15
Low Slow Squat x 15
10 Burpees OYO
Repeats
We ran the length of the building on the backside with exercises between each AYG run. Not sure how many rounds we did, but it was quite a few. We did a bunch of Mary, plank-o-ramas, Hand-Release Burpees, Squats, CDD’s, People’s Chair, Merkins, Burp-and-Merk, and some others that elude YHC at the moment.
Mosey back up Camilla with 2 stops for exercises at the street lights. Continue up to Carmel Park entrance. Crazy Ivan into the Church at Charlotte parking lot.
6 MOM. Short mosey to pull the two unnamed PAX out from under the tree trying to stay dry. Continue Mary.
COT
Moleskin
Had planned to use the #Gladiator lot for the bulk of the workout. Hundreds of cones, loud pop music, and 2-3 workout-ers trumped the plan. Plan B was hatched in about 100 yards of mosey. It was redundant. All pushed hard throughout.
Observations and notes-
Chelms left early once, maybe twice. Also displayed the best form in all of F3 Area 51 on the People’s Chair. Respect. Appreciate the Burpee request and was happy to oblige.
Swiper, One Eye, Rachel, Bout Time out front on AYG hundred yarders.
Speaking of Swiper, someone mentioned that he is doing some preaching soon. He took us out today in the rain and did a fine job of it. T-claps
Snowflake crushed it as usual. Respect
Good to see Pothole again. Strong work today
Orlando, Hamlet, Chalet, and Rock all pushed hard. Solid crew at DMZ. Metro and A51 guys mixing it up and getting work done.
Burpee-free October is not a real thing. Do Burpees. Get better. History of the Burpee found HERE

Please keep The Shore’s family in your prayers
17 men met at Calvary for the #F3RockZero fight of the century. We disclaimed, prayed for our brother The Shore and his family, and then launched into the gloom.
The Thang
We ran along the campus road out to 51, hanging a right towards the very front entrance of Calvary. We stopped at the circle in front of the Church and grabbed us a lifting rock…not a running rock…Haze does not run with rocks. We moseyed to the front parking lot and circled up for a brief COP before the real work began.
The bell rang for the fight.
Return the rocks and run back the way we came, to the hot box.
Mosey down to the mini-soccer field to finish the fight.
Run back to launch for a couple rounds of Mary to close out the hour. COT.
Moleskine
Good group of men today, most of whom worked really hard throughout the fight. Our circle was tight and it was light out, so there was nowhere to hide. BLC caught grief for his lifting rock, which probably didn’t even qualify as a running rock…but he is a Respect (and working his way back). Hoover’s rock was close to size of those boulders beside the hill entrance off Rea. Gummy was still full of mumblechatter, despite his Tigers’ loss last night to the ‘Cuse. No worries Gummy…tough road game in the Dome in front of 13,000 rabid Orange fans. Pro tweeted yesterday that he wasn’t afraid of YHC’s Q…but he did take several plays off during the hour. However, he was out front on the sprints…the Swift algorithm paying off.
Thanks to the RZ site Qs for the opportunity to lead.
We met today with heavy hearts for our brother The Shore and his family. Pray for them in the loss of his son.
Announcements
Flipper maxed out YHC’s phone storage with many announcements.
8 at the Outland today, enjoying the 3rd headfake of some cool fall weather.
What doeth a man when he stayeth up late and crawleth to his Saturday morning Q? He taketh his Thursday Peak51 Q, which was highly rated on Yelp, and bringeth it once again. You’re welcome to Lumberjack, Bullwinkle, Woody, and Bonhoeffer who got to enjoy this twice this week. We switched it up just enough to stretch the hour.
Thang:
Warmup COP near the Middle School buses. Run to a random bus after each exercise. Random.
Elementary School bus lot. Run around a bit (with gusto). Starfish with 5 burpee center. Merkins, Squats, SMC, LBC. Repeat until I got tired of it.
Middle School Hill – 7s with burpees/situps
Back to Middle School bus lot for some suicides. Two sets, using the parking spot numbers.
Partner work – P1 wall squats, P2 Supine pull-ups on the rails. Work down from 12 pull-ups and alternate.
BTW / Donkey Kick / Headrush combo
Mary
Moleskin:
Saturday workouts are long, but the backblasts are short. Gotta seize the day, you know.
Lots of repeat clients from Peak51. Hope you enjoyed it as much as you did Thursday.
Guys enjoyed the magical suicides that somehow got longer on both ends. Anytime there is a bus lot with an invisible bus, stuff like that is bound to happen. #Hogwarts
Woody is having a fundraiser Ba Ba Q, which somehow does not involve the letter R. I’m sure it will be delicious. Great guy, but he would make the worlds worst pirate. Aaaaaaaaaa.
Missing Glass Joe these days. I’m sure he’s off doing something amazing, like turning water into Welches Grape Juice.
Choosing the one spot in the parking rock with the tiny little rocks as the LBC station was my gift to you.
I will leave you all with this.
Get R Done

COT
We did 2 COT’s today. We needed to start with a prayer to lift up The Shore’s family. Heavy hearts this morning at Area 51 and around our region and beyond. Thanks to Abacus for the takeout.
Very much appreciate the invite to Q. This is a great AO. The 7 men present pushed hard. OT was late, but he made it, and it was good to see him. Joker was out front. His shoes are about to disintegrate mid-stride. They don’t make that model anymore and he loves them. I get it. Fairly certain he would have been out front barefoot. Strong work. Squid and OT owned the Jump Squat ladder. Great to meet Levi. Strong work from him for 60 minutes. And he’s a super nice guy. Abacus and Huggie Bear pushing strong as usual.
Enjoyed the workout, and, again, thanks for the invitation to Q.
I showed up a little early to stretch before Qing for first time at Rebel Yell, as the cars started to roll in I was surprised by the #s arriving. I started to get those good jitters, feeling the pressure to bring it, thought I had a good plan. After the usual disclaimer we were off…
Short mosey to circle up for the warm up: 15 side-straddle hops, 15 Imperial walkers, 15 Mountain climbers
Another short mosey to main road thru Stonecrest – Run to Ballantyne Commons stopping at each speed bump for 5 jump squats, plank up and wait for the 6.
Mosey across Ballantyne Commons to St Matthews for 2 steps forward 1 step back around the parking lot. Run two speedbumps forward, come back one and do 2 burpees. When finished leaders pick up the 6 to finish as a group. Inaudible mumble chatter and groans to begin the loop turned to audible complaints as we progressed but the PAXs did the work in strong fashion despite the unseasonably humid conditions, strong pace set by Kid Rock, Mario, & McGee. (the Q needed a 10 count upon completion because complaining about your own exercise seemed uncouth)
Mosey back across Ballantyne Commons to back driveway for some mental warfare of more speedbumps… instead wall-sit while each PAX did 10 presses down the line.
Next up was the hill… each PAX ascended the hill 5 times and did 5 merkins after the descent, plank up and wait for the 6.
Mosey down the back drive to Jersey Mike’s for a few rounds of Mary. With 12 minutes left the Q realized this was a strong group and now needed to improvise, mosey onward to hill in front of movie theater to partner up and more hill work – one ran the hill while the other did squats (50 combined). Mosey back to home base for some finishing Mary. The Q still had 3 minutes but was out of ideas, McGee suggested 30 burpees and a near mutiny broke out. PAX finished with one more round of Mary.

The title says it all! 14 Goats gathered for a Fall-ish morning to work on their endurance. The original plan was to do our workout on the track. However, since it rained < .01 inch, which covered the track in 2′ of standing water, we implemented the alternate plan to stay on Strawberry Ln.
Here’s how it went down:
Done! Everyone got somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5 miles, depending on pace. Excellent job!

Welcome to two site FNG’s… Arsenal and Swedish Chef. YHC is a Gunner fan, but confirmed that is not the origin of Arsenal’s nickname… in fact, he’s probably a Newcastle fan like Insomniac!! But welcome, nonetheless!! Swedish Chef came with Beaker… as you would expect for a namesake!! Beaker stayed at the front of the pack all morning… strong running!
Great running from everyone this morning! From Mr. Brady leading the way, to Bullwinkle giving 110%… you guys are awesome!
The small but grind-ish hill on Strawberry makes this workout a classic!
