Date: 2025-11-15 AO: brew-ruck-food-drive Q: geraldo PAX: Blanks, Starch, Water Works, The Worm, Broken Arrow, turkey_leg, Cheese Curd, Snuka, hoover, gummy, wildturkey, F3 Elsa, Roulette, ToeJam, WaterWorks, deep_dish, slim_fast, beaver, Limey Pico, Landman FNGs: 1 Landman COUNT: 21 16 Pax, including 1 FNG & 1 FIA, loaded their rucks with canned goods and rucked with purpose down the rail trail Saturday afternoon. We stopped at 6 breweries in all, 3.5sh miles and an unknown number of beers consumed but I guarantee @hoover got his monies worth.
Sycamore Hi-Wire Suffolk Punch Triple C Gilde Brewer’s at Yancey
If you stop by Hi-Wire again, be sure to order a pint of CB’s PALS IPA, it’s named for Chris Brown(F3 Rihanna) who was diagnosed with ALS and $1 from each pint sold goes to ALS. It was fun to see all the CLT half-marathon & marathon finishers at the breweries but I bet we had more fun 😃. Welcome Landman (Tony Kosich) from Hamburg NY! Tony is the husband of my wife’s HS best friend and was visiting us weekend. Western NY is such a small community that Tony knew @chickenwing’s dad from East Aurora. I have extra patches for $8 each if you’re interested. Great to see @theworm out the after kicking cancer’s a$$. Kudos to @roulette @wildturkey & @starch for rucking into Sycamore for some extra miles. @brokenarrow rucked 50 lbs, beast mode. @gummy can confirm this was rucking. I’m sure @Limey enjoyed this more than his kid’s dance competitions. He’s also still wating for his burger from Suffolk Punch. @turkeyleg and his M, FIA Pico, proving couples that ruck together have more fun. @snuka from the top rope with his first ruck ever. Big thanks to @toejam for the generous donation. Thanks to @deepdish, @slimfast & @beaver for their donations. TCLAPS to @blanks for picking up and dropping off the donations at the Second Harvest Food Bank Wednesday morning. We donated over a thousand pounds of food through this event. I cannot thank everyone involved with this event enough. It means a lot to the people who will benefit from your kindness. Let’s do this again next year!
