Date: 2024-12-28 AO: the-rock Q: flipper PAX: Tuna, O’Tannenbaum, geraldo, Snuka, Mr. Magoo, flipper, hoover, Pilgrim, Limey, Cosmo FNGs: None COUNT: 10 When Tuna reached out and reminded YHC of his impending Q at TheRock, my immediate instinct went to gear… Seeing as I hadn’t Q’d or posted a “normal” bootcamp in well over a year YHC decided to go a bit more traditional. The weather was kind, and the PAX showed out, with 8 of us gathered at 0659, with a brief pause to allow a late-arriving Hoover to get situated and we were off. Tuna found us a few minutes later to make the even 10.
WARMUP: Yog to the grassy knoll courtyard. SSH, LSS, IW, LSM
THE THANG: Headed to the front lot for some island hopping (literally) 1st Set: lunge walk to first island, 5 burpees, reverse run back. Repeat for islands 2 and 3. 2nd Set: Broad Jump to first island, 10 jump squats, reverse run back, repeato.
Back over to the grassy knoll, partner up. 1st partner runs the front lot loop while 2nd partner does callers exercise, flapjack. The exercises were merkins & bearcrawls on the grassy knoll, Step up Each Leg then incline Merkin on picnic tables, then decline merkins. After 1 time through we cut the lap in half and did it again.
Now over to the hot-box to visit our friends the Olympians, there we did 25 little hazes each leg, then 25 dips. Enough off that, lets head to the rock pile.
First rock set was a simple curl to press, run around yonder light pole. Second set involved a 2 count for each range of motion, third a 3 count, didn’t make it to four.
