Flying Iron in the Cold

Cool dry mornings are a great place for the swinging or iron while enjoying the sultry tones of early 2000s emo pop-punk. YHC knew every song while only voodoo may have recognized one or two…. Consider it pay back for endless hours of hair metal which greatly preceded my formative years. Not that I dislike the melodic resonance of bygone eras, but diversity is the spice of life.
Also, double over head squats are my new least favorite KB motion, they’re just awful, or I’m just inflexible, I believe the PAX agree on this one.
We’re in the final week of the doubles program, Voodoo is off to scour the interwebs for our next round of funishment

IPC Reprise

Made weird references as we went about noting the route. Then went back to launch and laid this on them: (Picture to Follow). The timing was actually amazing and we finished right at 6:30. Thanks to War Eagle and Yard Tool for hosting this workout (which I modified slightly) for IPC back in Sept. It was my favorite one – hard but doable with rep counts that are high but not stupid high.

Change Management

He started messaging me during the COT prayer demanding a Slackblast. Look, I don’t like change and I had finally come to grips with no more backblasts but here we are again. Allow me to swallow this harumph and continue.
THE THANG:
We ran to Matthews Elementary, home of Slim Fast’s original 17 different BRR teams and (one of the) legendary time(s) I almost passed out in the allleyway, and did some cavorting around. Possibly some galivanting. Some may have jaunted or traipsed. It was a blur. Then we ran back home and did the longest 6MOM I have experienced (at least this year).
At least one guy farted.
Pro Tip: If you are faced with the real glass bottles of Heinz Ketchup and you can’t make it happen, tap the bottle right on the little imprinted “57” just under the neck and it’ll get to flowing, stat. It works on the refrigerated and unrefrigerated versions, because ketchup in a restaurant doesn’t have to be kept cold – everyone knows this. Give it a try.
