Moleskinny:

  • It was great to be back and Peak 51, always feels like home when I have a chance to to Q here. I don’t frequent this AO as often as I used to, but it’s great to come back.
  • The #Weinke was simple, head back to the original Peak 51 AO, get some running and exercises in. Approximately 2.5 miles covered, great job everyone.
  • Horsehead rolled in for the bootcamp option this morning, not looking at all sorry for missing out on Sparta.
  • The temperature was perfect, and not drop coming down from the sky, which is par for the course for Slim Fast
  • Thanks to Horsehead for reminding me about the six as YHC had a little Q juice and picked up the pace leaving the AO. I got a bit caught up with chatting with Smokey #Cobains
  • YHC really hadn’t seen Sensei in some time and quickly noticed that he shed his COVID beard and he looks about 15 years younger.
  • Sorry to hear Lois is on the IR after coming in contact with a branch or puddle last week at Mountain Goat last week. Tweetsie said he thought Lois broke a bone or something, but he shook it off and like the Ol’ Ball Coach, sucked it up and was out coaching on the field later that day. Heal up and see you soon Lois.
  • Glad to hear that Smokey’s church has found a home for the colder weather rather than in his backyard. It goes to show you, God will provide.
  • Good to see Kilowatt and Pele grinding it out, keep up the good work.
  • Beaver posted after only have 2 good hours of sleep the night before and he was pushing it out there.
  • Slim Fast reacquired his SUV from his daughter, the vehicle is 20 years old, almost as old as Southpaw. That’s getting your monies worth out of vehicle.
  • YHC was hesitant like a squirrel, Double E’s words, crossing John St on our way back to launch. Slim Fast and Sensei took the initiative and took off.
  • TCLAPS to Slim Fast, Sensei, and Tweetsie for the Slim Fast 5K pre-run.
  • As I was leaving, I spotted Double E heading out from some extra credit miles.
  • Thanks to Smokey for taking us out.
  • Thanks to Sensei and Lois for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Announcements:

  • The Area 51 Board met with the SOB and Waxhaw boards last week and one of the things that came up in our different breakout groups was backblasts. They used to be an automatic in when I first started F3 years ago, but have become a rarity. The backblast is one of the best ways to keep the pax engaged and should be completed by the workout Q the same day. The site Q should ensure a backblast is completed, and if the workout Q doesn’t doe it, then they should write one up.
  • Smokey and his board of pain is on deck for next week.

Three For The Filthy Five

3 pax decided to nut up and post at Area 51’s premier rucking/gear workout. The clock struck 0515 and we were off

COP

There wasn’t one, we took off and rucked it to Davie Park

The Filthy Five

When we reached Davie Park we headed to the plushy field turf soccer pitch. The Filthy Five is five rounds of five exercises, decreasing the number of reps by five each round, 25, 20, 15, 10, & 5 reps. The five exercises were Overhead Ruck Presses, Ruck Squats, Merkins (no ruck) Sit-ups/LBCs, and Lunges. We jogged the length of the field in between rounds.

Circuit Work

With the Filthy Five in the books, we moved over to the stands for some bench work. Three rounds of Incline Merkins x 10, Dips x 15, and Step-ups x 20

Time was up and we returned to SCMS

Mary

  • Flutter Kicks x 20
  • Dollies x 20
  • LBCs x 20
  • Heals to Heaven x 20

Moleskinny:

  • I pulled into the parking lot and Cheese Curd was waiting patiently. I thought it was going t be just the two of us until Focker rolled in with a couple of minutes to spare.
  • It was pretty cold, even Cheese Curd wore pants, but Focker manned up and showed up in shorts.
  • Dora texted me at 0500 indicating he was a bit aggressive on the Peloton and wouldn’t be able to make, he’ll be back next week.
  • Cheese Curd had a late night binging some glass blowing show on Netflix with the M but he still beat YHC to the AO. I’m sure he picked up some extra ZZZs after the workout.
  • The AC/DC station on Pandora was on the menu, but definitely a thumbs down on Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” on that channel. I love Seger, but not mixed in with AC/DC.
  • Good to see Focker out again after a few weeks off. The countdown to the wedding has begun.
  • Wild Turkey and Cheese Curd crushed the APFT challenge for Pathfinder yesterday, strong work.
  • It was nice to get off campus and away from the track, Wild Turkey would’ve appreciated but he had a well earned rest day.
  • Thanks to Cheese Curd for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Announcements:

  • Blood Drive 2/19 Brace YMCA, pre-blast here
  • Wild Turkey has the Q next week.

WHAT MOTIVATES HIM—HE WISHED HE KNEW?

As we waited for an important ‘cog’ in the Rock Zero wheel to show up, we began our cold weather beatdown next to the cars, but it was not to be–Geraldo was warm and cozy–he may still be sleeping or getting ready for a nap! Hoover was there.  We reviewed his talented writing of what Joust used to be (A MUST READ) He—PRE RAN–along with Slingshot and a few other studs!  Proehl came out of the bushes about 10 minutes before 0700 with his jammies and a RUCK on his back.  He had no gloves, no hat, no tights–which is how I knew he was not Bigfoot/Sasquatch.  He had been ‘rucking’ about 2.5 miles with 50lbs before he dominated the workout.  How did I know he was there early?  Because I was there….on time!  Horsehead and Boondock sat in the Tacoma until about 6:58 when they decided to move the vehicle to another spot—it seemed like a show of disrespect to EE, who was in mid sentence during a conversation with them as they relocated.  It was great to see Iron Horse–He likes to wait until it gets really cold so he can make sure all of his body parts and his car can be tested. McGee was guest Q for his patented 6 minutes of Mary (feet don’t touch ground) VERY NICE!  And Dr Floorslapper has a new reason to celebrate!  We all watched Proehl march off into the horizon with his ruck….as we pondered things like: Is he cold? How old is he?  What motivates him?  Cool dude!  Because that’s what we do. #nosocialmedia #sasquatch #moderndaycaveman #iwanthimonmyside
Over 3 miles of running–The Beast-Rocks-abs-Good conversation and Great job everyone!
Prayer from McGee–remember those in our midst who are challenged with various things and need support of other men.
Mighty Mite announced…………………………….an opportunity to give blood on February 19th….PLEASE HELP!

What’s With The White Truck?

11 Pax showed up, parking correctly in the new launch point and were properly disclaimed before taking off at 5:30.

COP

We took a warmup lap around the parking lot

  • SSH x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 20
  • Windmills x 20
  • Squats x 20
  • Merkins x 20

Robbie Miller Half (Quarter)  WOD

We yogged over to the parking lot for a sample of the Robbie Miller WOD.

  • Shuttle Run 3 trips four parking spaces back and forth
  • Burpee Squats x 6
  • 4 Count Mountain Climbers x 6
  • Turkish Getups x 6

Rock Work

Enough of the rocks so we moseyed over to the rocks and a 4 rounds of Overhead Presses x 20, Curls x 20, Tricep Extensions x 20 & Goblet Dips x 20. Run to the cemetery and back in between sets.

After the rock work, we had some time for 2 rounds of Incline Merkins x 10, Squats x 25 and Step-ups x 20.

We returned our rocks and moseyed back to the start point. A quick check of the watch and we were close to 2 miles, so we completed 2 rounds of gassers.

Mary

  • Flutter Kicks x 20

Moleskinny:

  • Good turnout by the Pax today, cooler temps but things warmed up quickly.
  • There was an old white truck parked across multiple parking spaces at the launch point, Dukes of Hazzard Uncle Jesse style. There must be a story there somewhere, maybe Deacon Horsehead can find out.
  • Kotters to Salt Lick, I can’t recall the last time he posted. He’s dealt with back issues for the last few years but it sounds like he’s
  • The Robbie Miller WOD was in honor Staff Sergeant Robert J. Miller was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. His citation can be read here.
  • Horsehead remarked that the Robbie Miller WOD sucked, so I take that as a compliment. It consists of 12 rounds, but it was shortened it so we can mix other stuff into the Weinke.
  • Manziel showed up proudly in Cleveland Browns gear, and deservedly so. The Browns hadn’t won a playoff game since the 90s and they were long overdue. He was sharing the joy with fellow Ohioan Orang Whip.
  • Chubs and Spyglass really pushed it during the gassers, youth helps but those guys have gotten faster.
  • Lex Luthor just gets down to business, with his grey hoodie Rocky style.
  • Thanks to Orange Whip and Fault Line for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Announcements:

  • Blood Drive 2/19 Brace YMCA, pre-blast here
  • Orange Whip is working on the schedule, step-up an sign-up. Lex Luthor has the Q next week.

New Year’s Eve Eve At Anvil

YHC pulled into the parking lot with a few minutes to go and found Snowflake and Mr. Magoo waiting. Point Break, Cage, and Floorslapper rounded out the crew this morning. The PAX was properly disclaimed and we were off at 5:30.

COP

We moseyed over to the the large parking lot for COP

  • SSH x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 20
  • Windmills x 20
  • Squats x 20
  • Merkins x 20

Partner and Rock Work

We yogged over to the rock pile and picked a suitable lifting rock. Partner up, Partner 1 performs called exercise with said rock while Partner 2 runs the loop to 51 and back, flapjack until the team completes the aggregate number of reps per exercise. 150 reps of Curls, Presses, Squats, and Flutter Kick presses.

Bench Circuits

Enough of the rocks so we moseyed over to the hotbox. Staying with your partner, Partner 1 performs called exercise while Partner 2 runs down the sidewalk to the garbage pail, then flapjack. We did a total of three rounds, Decline Merkins, Dips, and Step-ups.

With the bench circuits complete we grabbed some wall and two rounds of Air Presses x 50.

Mary

  • Flutter Kicks x 20
  • LBCs x 20
  • Hello Dollies x 20
  • Rosalita x 20

Moleskinny:

  • Lorax Dm’d me yesterday from the beach with a friendly reminder that I had the Q, thankful he did since I hadn’t checked the schedule. With all the “holiday hours” the past week, I wasn’t sure if the schedule was correct with the 0530 start, that too Lorax confirmed.
  • When putting together the Weinke I wanted to keep it simple, “Meat n’ Taters”, some lifting, and little running, 2.6 miles or so.
  • Floorslapper was almost two minutes early, well four minutes if you account for his usual 0532 arrival.
  • TCLAPS to Snowflake for the run in and run out.
  • Floorslapper was dropping some knowledge about the COVID vaccines.
  • Point Break kept knocking out the reps and doing the heavy lifting for YHC.
  • 2020  has been a year like no other and like everyone else, I’m looking forward to 2021, although that will prove to be challenging as well. One thing that has helped me this past year has been F3. Whether it was via Zoom (something was better than nothing) or when we returned to in-person workouts, F3 has been a constant. The accountability, committing to getting up to meet in the gloom for 45 minutes or an hour to try to keep accelerating provided some “normalcy” if there is a such a thing in 2020. F3 is more than a workout, the 2nd F is key, and provides us an opportunity to share our experiences and support one another in these uncertain times. Our faith will help us get through this and we’ll come out stronger. Thanks to the men that push me each morning, especially those times when I just don’t really feel like it. I know that for 45 minutes each day I’m out I feel that’s where I should be, with my brothers in the gloom. Happy New year and cheers to a much better 2021.
  • Thank you to Snowflake for the takeout.
  • Thanks to Lorax and Point Break for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Announcements:

  • Das Boot has the Anvil Q next week
  • Hydra with an 0600 start tomorrow; Da Vinci converges with Rock Zero this Saturday. Check Slack and the F3 South Charlotte calendar for updates to the AO schedule with many adopting holiday hours or convergences.
  • Keep a lookout for an Area 51 New Years Day Convergence
  • F3 Metro is hosting the F3 10th Anniversary workout at AG Middle 0700 New Years Day.

Happy 245th Birthday Marines

8 PAX gathered in the parking lot next to Seaboard, AKA Peak 51’s temporary/permanent home, for some #DownPAINment is spite of the wet forecast and their comfortable #Fartsacks. The PAX were properly disclaimed and we were off at 0530.

COP

We moseyed over the stage at Stumptown park stage for COP

  • SSH x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 20
  • Windmills x 20
  • Squats x 20

MARSOC Short Card

With the Pax properly warmed up, we proceeded with the main event, the MARSOC Short Card. We completed two rounds of the following, which amounts to the full number of reps for the MARSOC Short Card.

  • 15 Merkins
  • 15 Air squats
  • 15 Crunches
  • 5 Burpees
  • 15 Windmills
  • 15 Merkins
  • 15 Mountain climbers (4-count)
  • 15 Flutter kicks (4-count)
  • 5 Burpees
  • 10 Cherry pickers (4-count)
  • 15 Merkins
  • 15 Side Stradle Hops (or jumping jacks)
  • 15 Back Extensions (“supermans”)
  • 5 Burpees
  • 10 Chain breakers
  • 15 Merkins
  • 15 Lunges (each leg)
  • 15 Hello dollies (4-count)
  • 5 Burpees
  • 10 Trunk twists (American Hammer)
  • Take a lap around the park.

We finished up just in time and moseyed back to the start point to find our Sparta Pax waiting for us.

Mary

  • No time so we were done.

Moleskinny:

  • With the weather forecast looking sketchy, YHC wasn’t too sure how many Pax would show up and I was pleasantly surprised to see 7 other waiting in the parking lot.
  • The weinke was the MARSOC Short Card, which is designed for Marines to complete in small quarters, and seemed appropriate with our location for this morning’s workout. It also worked out that the Marines 245th Birthday was this past Tuesday so it was appropriate.
  • Normally I modify the MARSCO Short Card, which calls for twice the number of reps we completed in one round. We managed to get two rounds in which amounted to the full number of reps for the workout. You’re welcome.
  • YHC’s plan was to keep us as dry as possible considering the weather forecast, and that was mostly true with the exception of the sweat from the unseasonable humidity in the air. The Stumptown Park stage was most accommodating.
  • The weather forecast as not looking good when YHC went to bed last night, 90%-100% chance was upgraded to 40% when I woke up. Slimfast’s “Slimcast” remained true, and what rain we had was minimal. The rain held off until after the workout thankfully.
  • The Pax called YHC out when I said there would be “no running” but the took off immediately without COP. We did get 1 mile total in which is as close to 0.0 we were going to get.
  • The morning was certainly moist, and I seemed to have stumped Lois with a quote from “Throw Mama From The Train”.
  • No one really likes burpees, Tweetsie didn’t appreciate getting up from one exercise only to do a burpee.
  • Lois demonstrated his karaoke skills by serenading us with the theme of the “Greatest American Hero”
  • Good to see Beaver and Snoopy getting out more regularly. I know Snoopy was nursing a calf or hamstring recently, so it is good to see him on the mend.
  • YHC hadn’t run the loop around the park in some time and was pleased to see the addition of the Veteran’s memorials.
  • Slimfast kept me honest with the workout pattern and caught on quick.
  • Good catching up with Smokey this morning, who is busy with his church and holding service in his backyard, pretty cool.
  • Thanks to Sensei and Lois for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Announcements:

  • Q School Saturday 11/21 Arboretum 0700, 45 minute workout followed by Q School

Gohper It

10 PAX gathered for this weeks installment of Basecamp, no FNGS, they were properly disclaimed and took a complimentary lap around the bus lot before we got started.

COP

We started to head towards the church road when we saw Rhapsody pull in to school parking lot so we pulled up and did a little COP.

  • SSH x 20
  • Copperhead Squats x 20
  • Windmills x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 20
  • Merkins x 10

The Gopher

With COP done, we ran down to the track, took a lap and then made our way to the bleachers by the baseball fields. We completed 10 Derkins, 15 Dips, and 20 Step-ups (10 each leg), then jogged over midway between the baseball fields and the track. That was one complete round. The Pax partnered up, size and speed doesn’t matter, Partner 1 runs the lap around the track, while Partner 2 runs to the bleachers for the circuit work. Run back to the middle and do 10 Merkins each, then Flapjack. We completed 3 total rounds, with some Mary in between rounds 2 & 3.

Rock Work

We moved over and grabbed a lifting rock for two rounds of the following:

  • Curls x 20
  • Overhead Presses x 20
  • Tricep Extensions x 20

We returned our rocks and headed back to the parking lot with some time for Mary

Mary

  • Flutter kicks x 20
  • LBCs x 10

Done

Moleskinny:

  • The Gopher is simple and effective. A way to keep the Pax moving and pick up some miles. It was a Death Valley staple and a favorite of Spackles.
  • YHC had two plans when I rolled into the parking lot, the Gopher or a trip to Davie park. Hammer helped me with the decision when he said he preferred to be on campus due to the proximity of the Port-a-Johns. Hammer has been posting more frequently coming back from injury, keep it up.
  • Strong work by Hopper, he was my partner for the Gopher and he kept pushing it.
  • I think Clover appreciated the aptly named Copperhead Squats, but there wasn’t an hissing #Disappointed
  • It was a cool, damp 50 something degrees this morning, long sleeves seemed appropriate, and Mr. Magoo sporting the pullover. Not quite pullover weather, but ok.
  • Floor Slapper was 4 minutes early, like 05:26 not 05:30. He also said he was recovering from being slow.
  • Limey posts like every weekday, he’s #accelerating.
  • Good to see Red Baron out there again, he keeps showing up to all of my Qs of late and putting in the work.
  • Fault Line’s shoulder acted up with the weather and stayed in the #fartsack this morning.
  • Thanks to Mr. Magoo and Thunder Roadh for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

Intermittent Rain until 6:15

11 PAX, ignored their #fartsacks and made their way to Kelvar. The PAX was properly disclaimed and we were off at 5:30.

COP

We started to head towards the church road when we saw Rhapsody pull in to school parking lot so we pulled up and did a little COP.

  • SSH x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 20

With Rhapsody in tow, we moseyed down the church road, I don’t know the name of it, I’ll have to ask Horsehead sometime, stopping at each light for 5 merkins.  We stopped and finished up COP

  • Windmills x 20
  • Squats x 20

Church Laps

We moved over to the church’s main entrance and ran a lap. When done with said lap, complete the following exercises. Repeato 2 more times for a total of 3 rounds.

  • Merkins x 20
  • Squats x 20
  • Flutter Kicks x 20

Rock Work

We yogged over to the rock pile and chose an appropriately sized lifting rock and headed over to the Pavilion for some cover anticipating the rain at 05:50 . With said rock, perform a round of the called exercises then run to the cemetery and back in between sets.

Round 1

  • Curls x 20
  • Overhead Presses x 20
  • Tricep Extensions x 20

Round 2

  • Chest Press with Rock x 20
  • Kicks (Rock held up or pressed) x 20
  • Squats x 20

We headed back to launch, stopping at the school for 1 round of AYG, which Chubbs won easily.

Mary

  • Rosalita x 20
  • Flutter kicks x 20
  • Hello Dollies x 20

Moleskinny:

  • Great job by the Pax today and surprising numbers considering the weather forecast.
  • Horsehead hit me up yesterday afternoon to see if I could pick up his Q as he was dealing with a balky knee. When I woke up this morning and heard the rain, I thought I might have been hoodwinked. I was glad to see his truck when I pulled in, he wouldn’t leave me hanging. Thanks HH.
  • The weather app said “Intermittent rain until 6:15”, perfect, it would end when we finished the workout. I had a plan, but needed to alter it if the heavens opened up. When I arrived at the AO, the rain was pretty non-existent. Great, we’ll proceed with the weinke and audible as needed. The rain held off thankfully.
  • Orange Whip told me that it was going to come down again at 05:50. He must have caught Larry Sprinkle’s forecast or something on the way.
  • We thought Rhapsody was sitting in his truck thinking we didn’t see him contemplating whether we was going to get out and join us. Manziel was glad you did, since you guys are accountability buddies, which is the best way to make sure the Pax show up in good weather and bad.
  • Kotters to Manziel who joined us after catching the Ultimate Frisbee bug over at Joust this summer.
  • Chubbs has some wheels on him, and doesn’t merlot after the AYG anymore, he’s come a long way.
  • BLC was getting it done as usual. When BLC shows up to a workout, YHC loves his pre-game stretching, makes me think he’s going to go crush the President’s Physical Fitness test.
  • First time posting with Honeymoon, the dude is 22, glad to see the young guys like him, Chubbs, and Spyglass coming out.
  • Red Baron keeps putting in the work, saw him at Sparta for my Q last week. Keep it up.
  • Orange Whip and Manziel are enjoying the strong start by their home team The Browns, maybe Baker Mayfield might work out after all. Cleveland fans are some of the most die-hard fans, hope they don’t get disappointed again.
  • Fault Line’s shoulder acted up with the weather and stayed in the #fartsack this morning.
  • Thanks to Orange Whip and Fault Line for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

We then moved over to the Hot box for some circuit work, 3 rounds.

  • Decline Merkins x 10
  • Dips x 15

Avenue of  Trees

We started to head back to the launch point but stopped at the Avenue of Trees for lunges every other tree, and then resumed our mosey back.

Mary

  • None, we ran out of time.

Moleskinny:

  • The temps were finally at a respectable level this morning, like no humidity and in the 60s, just perfect.
  • Welcome FNG Picabo (John) he’s new to Charlotte and was EH’d by Hops. He’s a pilot for American Airlines, but enjoys skiing, and somehow we wound up at Picabo (Street). I think it was Puddin’ Pop who came up with his name, of course.
  • After the Iron Pax Challenge yesterday, YHC had no appetite for merkins, so there were only a few on the menu, you’re welcome.
  • YHC fumbled the execution the hill work by only completing 1 rep at the top of the hill, Horsehead properly called me out for it, and I added the missed reps to the next round. I think I may have confused Boondock though. That Boondock is fast by the way.
  • Somehow we started talking about Karate Kid, Parts 1, 2, and 3, the Cobra Kai series, Elizabeth Shue, Leaving Las Vegas which can owe to our resident trivia king Puddin’ Pop. There we have title.
  • 49er brought his “A” game and was out front during the rock themed Beast.
  • Mermaid and Lorax seemed to be catching up on things during the Beast.
  • Lorax dm’d me last night to make sure I was still onboard to Q and that depending on his tax work, he’d be there. Fortunately he made his filing deadline and was able to join us.
  • Hops actually did a few Side Straddle Hops for the FNG.
  • Puddin’ Pop modified as necessary, which is expected.
  • Snowflake was expecting an FNG this morning but he wasn’t able to make it, maybe next time. Snowflake ran in of course.
  • Runstopper couldn’t stick around much after the workout because he had to walk the dog.
  • Prayers for Fallout and his family as his son is undergoing brain surgery today.
  • Thanks to Lorax and Point Break for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.

We jogged over to the hill behind the baseball field for a little Jacob’s Ladder, 1 Carolina Dry Dock at the bottom, 6 lunges (each leg) at the top.

Bench Circuits

Since we were already there we stayed at the bleachers for some circuit work, 3 rounds.

  • Dips
  • Incline Merkins
  • Step ups

When the moved over to the school building and grabbed some wall and two rounds of arm raises. After that, we headed back to the launch point, stopping for some Mary along the way. When we arrived back at the start point, there was still some time on the clock, so we ran a couple of gassers for good measure.

Mary

  • Rosalita x 20

Moleskinny:

  • It was great to be back and Peak 51, always feels like home when I have a chance to Q.
  • YHC pulled in to find a fair amount of cars, with Peak 51 and Sparta there were 20 Pax combined.
  • First thing I noticed was Hair Band sporting a ruck, but he wisely put that away since we were going to move around some. He did get a little pre-ruck in though.
  • Good to see Tweetsie make his way back to Area 51 even after moving to Metro region, #Loyalty
  • Sensei’s COVID beard game is strong, he’s going to give ZZ Top a run for their money.
  • YHC thought it would be nice to return to Peak’s pre-COVID stomping grounds, it’s a real nice AO, hope they move back there sometime soon.
  • Smokey threw YHC off by consistently asking if each leg counted as one or if two legs counted as one during the lunges, so much so that I headed back down the hill before finishing my set.
  • Snoopy was out there giving it his best, I hadn’t seen him in a while, glad to see he’s still getting after it.
  • I think Slim Fast’s hair turned gray since COVID started.
  • Smokey was getting after it during the gassers, I truly think he pulled a rope-a-dope on me and hit that extra gear at the end, nice job!
  • Speaking of Smokey, he doesn’t know who Abe Vigoda was, check out Barney Miller or The Godfather my friend. Barney Miller has one of the best bass lines ever.
  • Lois never ceases to amaze the pax with his trivia knowledge, he’s on my team any day for trivia night. He also had the best line this morning about a swing vote, I may just have to steal it.
  • We always encounter a Matthews Elementary staff member when we’re in the People’s Chair, it never fails.
  • Thanks to Slim Fast for taking us out.
  • Thanks to Sensei and Lois for the opportunity to lead and please sound off with any mumble chatter.
