And with ample levels of tryptophan still coursing through our systems, it would have been a top-tier fartsack of a morning. BUT, like the sweet notes of the Sirens’ song, tHe wOLf’S soft purrs called out to the pax. Thankfully for YHC, this morning he was not a wolfpack of one. Nay, three additional, esteemed pax turned out and we had ourselves the beginnings of a full-fledged pack keen on lifting not one, but TWO spherical objects in cadence through 30 elements. In a moment of serendipity, the KB gods decreed only three sets of this nonsense this week, but looking ahead, we’ll have to once again climb the hill of sets in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, mumblechatter kept things moving today and High Tide’s FNB (friendly, new…bell?), “Bomb” joined us with all of his 90 lbs. to give the pax an early taste of the Festivus feats of strength. Probably not a beatdown anyone wants to re-do anytime soon, but the pax put in work and got better today.
