Burpee Challenge

5 men met for a morning workout. 

What we did:

-Little baby 1/4 mile jog around parking lot

-Standard warm up… IW; SSH; Squats, etc.

-Played with rocks, using the hill by the back entrance

-Warm up with shuffle step, karaoke, etc.

-Race tiime… .3 mile loop at full speed, with exercise between each set.  Rinse/repeat X 4.

-Station work… People’s Chair, Dips, Declines… X3

-Playground… pull ups and squats

-Core work… LBC, flutter, Dolly, Rosalita, Mason Twist

-Finish with ONE burpee

Naked Man

– too bad we ran out of time at the end.  I had planned for 100, maybe even 1,000 burpees.  But due to time constraints and the bylaws of the Rock workout site I decided that just doing one burpee was appropriate. 

-good to see some old friends, and make new ones.

Wow Joker, it hurts that you didn’t even remember that I was the 5th pax. It used to be we could remember 15 to 20 pax as the workout Q without even writing them down or using our smart phones. I thought maybe you would have remembered my mumble chatter.

Just kidding, but all kidding aside it was a great workout as always! You were the Q on my FNG workout 2 years and 8 months ago at Area51 at McKee Rd and its always great to have those flashbacks when you Q a workout that I’m at.

Joker…..great Q and thank you for hosting The Rock! I realize now how you got your F3 tag…because it is a joke to try to catch you. Heaven knows I tried during those .3 mile laps, but to no avail. #speeddemon.

Next up at The Rock is Alf….he promises it won’t be easy…..just the way we like it!
