Having bumped into Spammer at the Teeter this weekend, and talking shop, he seemed keen to throw down some miles on the hills. Appreciate the :hardcommit:.
No other chatter on the Slack so looked like it was two for turrible hills. YHC came in hot on account of not being able to find car keys at 0507.
Spammer pulled ahead early on and about halfway through the run he and I crossed paths, it was at this point that I heard Turkey Leg was stomping around the hood. Sure enough Turkey Leg caught up with YHC a short while after.
All three of us gathered up for the pledge somewhere around 0610, then moseyed down to the parking lot for COT.

Every third pinetree 5 dry docks. Once at the entrance of CCC, 25 jump squats run up the row 25 widearm merkins. Next row 25 lunges 25 hand release merkins Last row 25 prisoner squats 25 regular merkin Gravel lot for 25 reverse lunge. Back thru parking lot for 20 heels to heaven, american hammers, dolly, LBCs, rosalita. Head out of CCC and every light 10 squats, once back on campus we did 10 curls, overhead press and squats with lifting rock. Head down the stairs for incline merkins on dugout bench. Repeat lifts 3 times and head to parking lot for 10 merkins at each light. Finished out with wall sit with overhead press. Nice work by all, beautiful morning out there today! Magoo said first time over at Cedarwood/that side of street. Limey said the Q was ad hoc, I offered my weinke. Nice breeze today which limited our exposure to gas. We trapsed over to The Bowl to find race prep in full effect. Regardless we proceeded to run through three sets of exercises in the parking lot with the timer being tire drags. In between sets we went to The Amp and regailed the staff with our exercises on the steps while the DJ got the tunes working and proceeded to fire up the bubble machine. It was a blast. Great work by the pax putting work in on a Saturday morning. Hauling all the gear to and from the workout was a bonus.

Odd Job took the Q and immediately slapped a reciprocal tariff on comfort—starting with a round of burpees so aggressive they had their own sanctions. Each PAX responded with retaliatory exercise calls, escalating the situation until our sweat rate outpaced inflation. Highlights included: – Jump rope volatility that sent feet flying and markets panicking – Tariff-tier burpees (the kind that hurt your feelings and your quads) – A no-deal summit of core work that led to fiscal—and physical—collapse Despite the market crashing around us (and maybe inside of us), the HIMs held the line. No bailout needed, just grit.

Triple Shot Saturday

Either way, the pax got after it and hopefully feel the pump radiate for the better part of the day. T-claps to Taggart for showing up earlier than all of us and getting in a pre-workout.
