Today’s Title is courtesy of Blades
I’ve just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver PAIN train
Hammer take away my worries of today
And leave Gumby behind
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can help Deep Dish through the hill sprints
Ooh dream weaver
I believe Jamboree can reach the Safe Light
We begin with a warm up jog to to a core work out and suicide duo.
Partner up for:
Gumby, Jamboree, and Blades were really pushing the pace on these.
Mosey to the soccer fields for exercises that aren’t Bur-pies
The next round was a race, at which point Sledge took off and left the old guys in the dust, HATE.. Blades was with Sledge until the hill sprints at which time he started singing dream weaver, lost count and did 25 hill sprints instead of 20….and the title of our work out was born.
Mosey to the picnic table and partner up
Partner 1 one legged squats and Partner 2 sprint to the light post, switch and repeato until 50 squats have been achieved with each leg.
switch partners and Partner 1 one legged squats front style while Partner 2 sprints to the light. Switch and repeato until each leg has received 25 squats.
Sledge decided to embarrass us by running to the furthest light post and still coming in first on the sprints.
Running out of time…so quick time to the rocks, for some Sun’s Out Guns Out.
Partner up for Partner 1 curls Partner 2 sprint to the light post. Rinse and repeat until a total of 100 curls is achieved.
Boerewors and Safe Light hadn’t done enough sprints and were leaving everyone in the sprints on this one.
1 minute left for jail break to the cars.
Great work out everyone. . Everyone is getting faster and pushing each other!!! Hopper back from IR I think for the first time congrats!! Rock wall hopefully got completed for the F3 work date. Have an awesome week!
Smokey and I planned to split the Q this week and I had my dastardly plan all laid out…
Until Horsehead texted some of the PAX a picture of a sign in front of the high school talking about a 5k in the morning at the school. I don’t think I have ever called an audible before a beatdown even started before. I called Smokey told him what was going on and we decided we just need to stay to the opposite side of the campus to limit any issues, easy enough except I didn’t have my new plan fully laid out.
Oh well, here we go!
Mosey to side of middle school, some guys were still playing with their keys and cars so lunge walk through the gauntlet (I remember Countertop called it that once so it works for me) to give the PAX time to catch up and regroup. Circle up just pass the last bus.
COP
SSH x 20
Imperial Walkers x 15
Manmaker Merkins x 10 (with a poor demo by YHC)
There may have been one more thing but it’s been a long day and I just can’t remember
Mosey to the other parking lot at the other school for suicides!
Round 1
Everyone line up, run to first island 5 merkins, run back to start, run to 2nd island and do 10 merkins, back to start, run to 3rd island… Well you get the idea. Up to the last island and 20 merkins.
Plank work until everyone is done.
Round 2
Same thing but do Carolina Dry Docks instead of merkins
Plank work while waiting for PAX to finish
You guys did so great you get a reward… 11s with burpees at the island and squats at the start
So run to the island, do 10 burpees, run back to starting point and do 1 squat, run back to the island and do 9 burpees, back to start for 2 squats, etc.
Some core work mixed in as everyone finishes
Hand off to Smokey
There was nothing more looked forward to in elementary school than field day. And when the baton was passed from Hair Band to Smokey, that is just what we did. After an Indian run mosey to the field beside the portables, we paired up in like sizes for wheelbarrow races. Honestly, there was a slight Q fail, as an Omaha had to be called for partners to switch half way through. It was all uphill from there. Another slow mosey Indian run led us to the elementary school playground and track for some pain.
5xpull ups
10xstep ups (per leg)
15 merkins
1 lap
Plank and then rinse and repeat
Then we headed over to the wall for a little BTW. Note to self, never ask Double E to give a 10 count when upside down.
Immediately, we headed back towards the beginning via Indian run with a brief stop halfway for (wheel house) 20xside straddle hop and 15 imperial walkers. Another Indian run got us back for some Mary (20xLBC’s).
Thanks to Mario coming out from SOB land with an EH now known as Band Camp!
Great work by everyone out there today, keep posting! It doesn’t get easier but you do get stronger!
Sign up to Q Outland! If you have not Q’ed yet, consider it. You can take 30 of the 60 minutes and we will help you make your plan.

& Smokey
11 strong showed up this morning for what was mistakenly advertised as a “low mileage” workout. Turned out to not really be the case. My bad. The clock hit 7am and with no site Q in sight (Hairball apparently was on child duty, this is yet to be verified, and Pro texted last night with some sort of illness. However, he was feeling good enough to cut his grass at 8am. You do the math) so I gave a quick disclaimer and we got after it.
The Thang:
One mosey around the track to explain the stations we would get to later in the workout and then circled up in the middle of the field. No SSH, no IW, and no mountain climbers…(sorry McGee) we got straight to business.
Split into groups for 4 corners.
10 merkins in the middle
burpees X 10 Corner 1
Hand release merkins X 10 Corner 2
Diamond merkins X 10 Corner 3
Wide grip merkins X10 Corner 4
Straight into the circuit/station workout OYO:
Dips X 20
Jump Ups X 10
Lil’ Haze X 10 (each leg)
Run to the track:
Station 1 – 10 Pull Ups
Station 2 – 10 V-Ups and 20 LBC
Station 3 – 15 Squats and 15 Monkey Humpers
Station 4 – 20 Presses and 20 curls (with cement plates)
Station 5 – AYG to the basketball court
Station 6 – 5 Burpe’ (french version)
Station 7 – Bear Crawl to the top of the ramp
Rinse and Repeat as many times as you can.
Moleskin:
The goal today was to keep moving for the entire 60 minutes and hit the major body parts. I feel we accomplished it. Alf, McGee, Swiper, and Heartbreaker took the early lead on the circuit and never looked back. I was content to fall into the middle of the group with Strawberry. I learned more about him today than I probably have in the year or so that I’ve known him. Good to chat, Bro. I’d be doing us all a huge injustice if I didn’t mention Semi’s antics. Not only did he rip into the parking lot literally going 55mph, but he got out of the car playing the role of Spackler this morning (ie, blood shot eyes, bed-head, and smelling of a homeless alcoholic). On a side note, Spackler couldn’t make it because he was hooked up to an IV at some shady “medical clinic” on East Independence Blvd. I digress. Semi immediately voiced his concerns that he hadn’t had time to use the bathroom at home so we all know what was going to happen..it was only a matter of time. I didn’t see it (but really wish I did) but apparently when it came time to drop the kids off at the pool, Gloss scaled some sort of fence and came out looking really bad. I mean, scratched arms and legs, ripped shirt, etc. Mrs. Gloss isn’t going to be happy. It was strange to say the least. Considering we all split into our own groups, I didn’t get to hear much of the chatter that took place. Feel free to chime in with what I missed. Thanks to Pro and Hairball for the chance to lead this strong group. Solid take-out but I have to say, I forget who did it. Swiper, maybe??? Sorry.

The NM:
– I was looking for a theme for the workout, and scanning previous backblasts I saw one Horsehead did a little over year ago on Friday the 13th. Bingo!
– Friday the 13th has never scared me, but some of the movies have. I think it may have kept a few Pax away this morning with a lighter than expected turnout.
– Great Job Steph, Chunks, Tibow on showing up and pushing yourself!
– DK was choosing to do his own little workout routine at the end. Bummer we had to skip DKs suggestion for bearcrawls on the way home as we ran out of time. Maybe next time!
– Thanks to Squid for taking us out.
12 guys + 1 unnamed late arrival (Skywalker) showed up (eventually) at Charlotte Christian this morning to get a little workout. While YHC never really had this group under control, I think we still got our money’s worth. Here’s what we did…
Mosey up the parking lot in front of the school – passing Skywalker on his way in
Circle up for COP
Numbers are a little squishy…I think I was the only one counting this morning and even I gave up eventually.
Flip over to plank position
Jog over to the blue door
Mosey to playground
Jog over to the top of G-ma mountain for Hill Repeats
Jog to the bleachers
Jog to the end line for gassers
Mosey back to parking lot
Moleskin
T-claps to all the men out there this morning for putting in some hard work. An extra t-claps to Big Top and Yeti for running in this morning (I still don’t know where Yeti is coming from…he just materializes in the upper parking lot every Friday).
This group today certainly knew it was Friday…and the 13th no less. Everyone seemed to be excited for the upcoming weekend and there was lots of chatter led by Skywalker..to the point I completely lost count of where we were in COP, which is definitely a first for me.
This AO has so much to offer for a bootcamp, so we toured almost all of it…from the blue door, to the playground, to Grandma Mountain, the bleachers, and the field. A little bit of something for everyone, even introduced a new exercise. Seems that the Lunge Jump Burpees were a crowd favorite… I know they kicked my tail.
Strong work by all of you men pushing yourself out there this morning. I may get this wrong, but I think I saw Yeti, Smokey, and Dollywood out front a bit this morning. Stone Cold killed it on the AMRAP pull-ups…then provided the assist I needed to get mine in (pull-ups = kryptonite). Sensei was getting after it during the gassers too. Some debate about finding someone fast enough to lead him on the field…Header partnered up with him and they took off.
As always, a pleasure to lead this great group of men. Hope you got your money’s worth this morning.

Great work guys. It’s humid and we sweat like pigs. Don’t forget to drink water and eat bananas to keep from cramping. (That’s what my mom always told me)
It’s always an honor to lead – I appreciated the opportunity.
A week ago I Q’ed Overdrive and at the end the call went out to the PAX… We have some guys signed up for a few weeks out but not next week, someone claim it before I do.
Silence…..
All week… silence…
Wednesday rolls around and I claim it with the thought of making sure it’s nice and awful.
From the F3 Lexicon-
SNOT WOGGLE: A Workout so hard it shuts down all Mumble Chatter and leaves the PAX looking backwards half-unconscious from the pain.

Everyone was smoked, you know how I could tell? The silence through most of it. #Snotwoggle accomplished. I could also tell because either the Union County school system has severely failed teaching basic counting or the PAX just were getting too smoked.
As I say that though, I still want to commend many out there who are newer or have not been regular in a while. No shame in modifying, you did 100% more than the #sadclown that #fartsacks. Keep at it, you will get stronger! We may bust your chops some (#accountability) but ultimately we want to see you succeed. #NoManLeftBehind #IronSharpensIron

A good mix for the ages.
The combination of Chelms asking for something different and last Friday’s leg beat down by Frazier, I figured the Centurion faithful were ready for some upper body work. So after a quick disclaimer 18 PAX and I were off.
The Thang:
Mosey to the gravel lot (the one for whatever reason we never use) to begin the warm up: SSH x 15, IW x 15. Then mosey to the benches for low slow squat x 15 and step ups 10 each leg.
Mosey to the road along side of the football stadium and at each speed bump choose from either merkins, wide arm merkins or diamonds. 15 at each speed bump then mosey to little lot for plank a rama led by Mermaid.
Mosey across the street to grab a rock and head down to the field.
Hammer Curls, Shoulder Press, Triceps Extension, 3 x 20 followed by a triple lindy (each previous exercise combined) 20 OYO. Lift the rock over head and walk into the middle of the field.
In the middle of the field, Bridge Press, Bridge Pullover (with the rock) 3 x 20, then a double dog dare, (each previous exercise combined) 20 OYO, recover, put the rock down, 10 burpees OYO. Lift your rock over your head and lunge walk to the other side.
On the other side, another round or Hammer Curls, Shoulder Press, Triceps Extension, 3 x 20 followed by a triple lindy (each previous exercise combined) 20 OYO. Lift the rock over head and walk into the middle of the field.
In the middle of the field, Squat curls, Bridge Press, Bridge Pullover 1 x 20 then lunge walk with rock over head to where we began.
Put the rock down for some Jack Webb. Merkins and Shoulder Press without the rock for 5 sets, then down the ladder with the rock for 5 more sets. 10 more burpees OYO
Mosey to the little lot for some fun with pavers. Pick a paver of your choice for front shoulder raises, truck driver, and halos. Then a Triple Lindy with those exercises. A set of curls and then some mary with the pavers (LBCs and dying cockroach)
A brisk jog around the stadium to finish the morning, circle up and count off.
Thank you Fire Marshall Bill for taking us out.
Many announcements: Memorial Day convergence, Providence Presbyterian service project in the morning, and F3 men going on a mission trip.
