Cans > Kegs…For Safety!

Date: 2025-02-22 AO: olympus Q: Krzyzewski PAX: MARTA, Wabbit, ickey_shuffle, Cottonmouth, Emoji FNGs: None COUNT: 6 Fortuitously, or more realistically by pure chance, the soundtrack to today’s beatdown dovetailed well with a lot of ’90s flashbacks to dorm parties in Oxford, OH, general college talk, and general nostalgia for the days of yore. Draped in a sound cloud of deep cuts by the usual suspects (e.g., Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots), a Soundgarden jam from ’89 (t-claps to MARTA for guessing that one), and, yup, even Rammstein, the pax powered through 40 minutes of EMOMs and some ‘lagniappe’ to round out the beatdown. Despite Joe Daniels’ advertisement for legs and back, we snacked on several additional food groups with copious presses, merkins, and snatches. Overall, solid beatdown to power through the cold. Hopefully, as Ickey envisaged, perhaps this was the last (or one of the last) brutal mornings this winter…we’ll see what the kettlebell gods have in store for us in future weeks.
