[Ultimate] 5 AM is the New 515
Date: 2026-01-23 AO: Ultimate Q: MARTA , PAX: MARTA, Paris, smokey, Fruity Pebbles, Zipper, Mayo, Spyglass, Shank, Yeti, Spikeball, Crawdad, David Baker, Wu Tang is for the children, Wario, Aoli, Biden, Peachss,Bullystick, Duff, Fuzz FNGs: 1 Fuzz COUNT: 21 Before the deep freeze of 2026, the mighty PAX (some mightier than others) arrived at 5 AM sharp. Numbers were so large that the football sized field was selected and there was a wonder why we haven’t set the kickoff at 5AM all season – even Paris and Pink Eye were present and/or prompt. Spyglass led the group in some light stretching.. further proof injuries can only occur at home or by the knife.
Familiar foes met on the pitch with yellow vs. red. MARTA, on brand, led the first two points with turnovers allowing red to stumble off to a quick lead. Yellow battled back trading points but remained down – not used to a congested field which limited their ample deep threats (Yeti, @Aoli, Paris, @Flywithme) until a twisted ankle pulled Spyglass temporarily from the field. Bolstered by a short season loan of Spyglass, Yellow was able to dink and dunk their way to a 2 point lead and never looked back when he was cast away back to red. Yellow with the casual win.
Welcome back @shank who showed his rust and is off to a surprising 0-2 start to the season. More importantly, the @bullystick and Spyglass corrupted the Spirit of the Game and the mind of young @Fuzz (FNG) convincing him to make a call that would embarrass your mother. Clearly the disc was bobbled and secured after the ground caught the disc- Hopefully LAX tiktoked or myfaced it for further scrutiny by the corrupt league office. Neither Fuzz or Red should sleep well tonight.
The LAX team (aka boys who play with sticks…) kicked us off the pitch a wee early. Props/Kudos to @pinkeye, smokey,@frutiy, @yeti, Spikeball, Spyglass for getting some extra work with the joust. Hopefully, DFACS avoids the Borelli residence this weekend- wellness check anyone?.
