Date: 2025-07-12 AO: run Q: tuck PAX: Doublemint, HazMat, toolbag, woodson, turkey_leg, Green Label, midriff, Franky FNGs: None COUNT: 9 After running to 2 Chick-fil-A’s last week the pax’ hunger for mor chikin became insatiable. Green Label spent his nights poaching chickens from Polly’s backyard and midriff hid himself under a free-standing Mountain Dew display at the Blakeney Harris Teeter so he could feast on leftover rotisserie chicken after closing time. Things were getting out of hand. For the safety of myself and my family I had no choice but to placate the pax by creating the Eat Mor Chickin route. 8 men joined me at CR, and I immediately knew something was off. I attempted some small talk about the weather with Franky but he just stared at me blankly, and after a few seconds of awkward silence grunted “dark meat”. I thought that was odd but before I could even process it toolbag caught my eye. He was crouched over a discarded CFA sandwich wrapper and was stroking it with just his index finger if I recall correctly, repeating “my precious” over and over in a demented voice. If that wasn’t strange enough, Green Label emerged from his car with his face and bare chest covered in chicken blood and feathers. At that moment the clock struck 0600 and it was time to skidaddle. The Eat Mor Chikin route includes every chicken restaurant in the tri-state area. We ran for what felt like days. At each stop the boys got their fill. I stayed outside with Huck, but I could hear the screams. I can still hear the screams. They haunt me.
