Although we may never know the exact “Why” behind suffering, three things are important to remember 1. God’s original creation was perfect, and there was no suffering. Adam and Eve’s sin brought disorder and a broken relationship with God that includes suffering. 2. We may not know why, but we cannot say that God does not care as He sent his Son into the world to die on the cross for our sins. 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 3. One day this broken world will be made new and eternal life is available to all who believe. “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
