Winter’s last call

Date: 2025-04-09 AO: anvil Q: lex_luthor PAX: Point Break, Rousey, lex_luthor FNGs: None COUNT: 3 There were some concerns that it was going to be a “no gear” workout when we started. These concerns were put to rest as we made our way to the library and proceeded to pull tires, swing kb’s, and deadlift sandbags. The winter weather was back this morning but that did not deter Point Break and Rousey from coming out and moving around for a full body beatdown. Side note – the boys from Meathead were happy to share coffee with the crew. All around a great morning

Ladybugs

Date: 2025-04-08 AO: soccer Q: Orange Whip PAX: jrr_tolkien, Level10, BobbyFischer, Joshee10, Kellen Dargle, Orange Whip, Jose Varela, Christmas, Mile High, National Treasure, Phil Britto, King, Pearce, Tush 2.0 FNGs: None COUNT: 14 Two fun games – close again.
National Treasure had the goal of the game with an incredible header off of a Pearce corner. Heeeeee’s back…well hopefully because he had a knee tweak at the end that did not look good  it’s not Sunday soccer without NT out there so heal up soon!
He and Kellen were both on their defensive games as usual.
King played longer than usual.
One of my 2.0s came out and put on some good hustle, though not exactly a soccer player (like his dad)
He commented that he thought Mile High was 30 because he was so fast, called Phil “the wavy haired guy”, thought Christmas was the best player and asked why I yelled at Josh :joy: :joy: :joy:
On that note, we almost lost Josh again but he manned up and came back into the game and played great soccer…gotta feed the beast more passes!!! Love Josh’s passion that’s for sure.
Jose V, made a great defensive stop from my 30 yarder into the middle of the goal, too bad he was on my team :joy:  :face_holding_back_tears: 😥 :sob:
Fun day and tough ending with the injury. I’m out next week with Spring break and then we have Easter the following, so we have to get some HC’s going!

Attack the hill back to launch where we stretched for the remaining 2 and a half minutes. Got in a little over 2.25 miles and
We can’t show up to “take care of ourselves” if we’re not gonna stretch and recover well. Let’s avoid injury (as best we can) so we can show up for those around us by taking the 2-4 minutes we need to stretch out and be sure we’re good for the next one.
Strong work this morning gents :muscle:
