Lochness Visit

SSH, IW, Windmill, Merkins, Squats THE THANG: Head over to Loch Ness for some laps. 10 merkins at first wall, 10 Step ups each leg on the second wall, 10 dips at the tables, 5 burpees at the sidewalk junction.
Do this about 4 times.
Head over to the fitness trail. Half run down the left side for pull-ups half run down the right for dips. Flip flop for 3 rounds. Head back home with exercises. MARY: throughout ANNOUNCEMENTS: I don’t remember. COT:

New Area for Firehazard

So I used a brand new area today and wingman went rucked. WTF!! WARMUP: Head to the lot near upper ave for some: SSH, IW, Windmill, Merkins. All IC. THE THANG: Head over to the main part of the bowl on lower. Do 4 corners from the corner of Lower and bowl st., to Bowl St and Upper; to Upper and Btyne Corporate, to Btyne Corporate and lower. Taco noted that this loop is really close to .5 miles. At diagonal corners 5 burpees and 10 Heels to the heavens.
Go to Upper and BC. Run half way or so for the other end. Triple nickel, 5 burpees on one end 5 Low slow squats on the other. This was about a quarter mile each way…. I think. Took a long time. Some people quit early….. so we did 10 IC burpees at the end. Head back to the start with exercises on the way. MARY: throughout ANNOUNCEMENTS: No time go to Panera COT:

Date: 2025-01-31 AO: joust Q: Orange Whip PAX: baracus, geraldo, ductwork, hopper, Orange Whip FNGs: None COUNT: 5 Exceptionally good weather brought out only 5 this morning, whilst the ultimate crew were back on their big, and improved field, with big numbers.
Hops, who I had lunch with the day before and promised to show was not there, nor was Focker who kind of committed was rumored to have spent his evening at the local pub. Nonetheless a well seasoned crew was there to enjoy the morning with some good laughs.
The Thang was nothing to write home about, as I scrapped my original plan once I saw the new field lit up…I have a soft spot for open green fields, however we did 2.5 miles, did a bunch of exercises, barely reached the pull up bars, Geraldo fell down while leaning on a wall, and we scouted out the baseball field and learned that the grass there is more comfortable than a brand new tempur pedic.
We had an opportunity to lay down on both the new turf field and the baseball sod and discussed which one would be the best to have relations on. We all voted on the spongy baseball field, but with reservation, as the decoy coyote they have playing second base would be staring into our eyes and we may not be able to perform…
Mumblechatter included Geraldo complaining how much money the Dodgers were spending….and this is coming from a Mets fan :man-shrugging:, shoulder injuries, knee injuries, Quagmire and more.

Ski Prep

On to our old starting point for 3 sets of partner Marys and laps. Joined there briefly by an old Mercury (?) and man with a cooler. He didn’t seem happy, so maybe not a morning person. Then 3 sets of four corners around the football stadium with four varieties of merkins. Up the 3 parking deck towers with squats at the bottom and a burpee at the top. Next a quick set of step ups and dips. Back to start finishing with more Marys. MARY: Yes ANNOUNCEMENTS: Preschool spoke of a nut issue and an upcoming surgery. The nut issue sounded more painful but the surgery seems more serious so prayers for success and quick recovery. COT: Yes

Breaking in the new Field.

Solid game and the Pax enjoyed the new field, but must get re-acclimated to the smaller endzones, which changes the game. Paris christens Hendrick Auto Field at Charlotte Christian with the first official score on the new turf. Thanks to CC for re-doing the ultimate field for us. I hope the football team gets to use it too. Welcome Dubai (brought by Spikeball) – keep the FNGs coming!
Coffee club / 2F was had in the parking lot which may be a new tradition. Congrats today to Paris for 2.0 No. 3 with likely another girl hashtag girldad.
