Great turnout for the second helping of Kevlar at Covenenant Day School with over 30 pax in attendance and 3 FNG’s. The temperatures were almost tropical compared to last week’s Arctic blast.

Lots of energy buzzing around CDS this morning as Kevlar saw a record attendance on a Friday F3 Area 51 workout. Some nerves were jingling as Bulldog laid enough cones to out to land a Boeing on the soccer field. The mosey to the church was interupted by Header and one other who must have hit snooze in the fartsack one too many times. Pax were made painfully aware that as tough as Tiger Rag appears to be by sporting short sleeves in cold weather his elbows are not as legendary. TR refused to choke it on the cement and remained in plank therefore will be rewarded with some Lubriderm and a set of elbow pads for next weeks endevours.

Great seeing the CMPD represented with FNG Brent Stanze nicknamed Wilbur taking some time away from fighting crime and keeping the peace within the pax.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: All Saturday workouts as planned with the Rock, Stonehenge, and Area 51 as scheduled. Keep the Shore in your prayers as well as Short Sale as we pray he bounces back quickly. Both lads are missed.

Sleeves: tights for the arms.

As for the ‘bows: I was less worried about the cheesecutters than I was putting dents in the asphalt. R-Dub’s 2.0 knows what I am talking about. #offficelinebacker

Great workout this morning Bulldog! Glad to see Old Glory flying high (thanks MallCop) rather than the Union Jack as threatened…no offense of course.

Strange Brew ain’t scared to wear t-shirts either, but he is from Canada so it makes sense. TRag is a South Carolinian, but I suppose the densely packed muscle and impressive goatee provide sufficient warmth.

Switching gears, a few guys apparantly didn’t get the memo on the new start time for Kevlar. Funny site seeing guys scramble out of their vehicles at what they thought was the appointed time for breezy fellowship.

Thanks for bringing the flag Mallcop as it would have caused quite a stir had I pulled out the Union Jack and donned my redcoat.
As far as TR’s elbows go our socialist medical care would have you patched up for free (although you may have to wait 9 hours and deal with the infection afterwards.)
Bananas is a publicity machine for F3. The true inspiration comes from his 2.0 asking if F3 is the plan to get rid of the beer gut!

Great workout today Bulldog, and my pleasure to provide The Rock shovel flag! We gotta have Old Glory flying, especially with the winds we had this morning.

While I’m continuing to lighten up and get faster through the #F3detoxfuelchallenge I felt like pressing it a bit on the first lap run and caught up with header, however half way through I had to back off a bit and the regular suspects Joker & TR passed me by! What was I thinking trying to run with a soccer player anyway? One of these days boys, one of these days.

Sounds like I missed a good one. Might want to leave the pylons where TR’s ‘bows were. Don’t someone steeping in one of those craters after church on Sunday.
