Great workout today. I thought it was a nice change, as my typical Stonecrest workouts consist of a lot of merkin, plus the way the weather is here, we will in bathing suites soon, so need to tone up the mid section. Great to see The Worm post, as I told Loogie this would be a perfect workout for him, as Loogie and Worm did kettle bells between ab exercises. I saw Triple 7 for a pre run, however found out that left due to injury, hope he is well. Always a pleasure to lead, thanks for the opportunity.

Well Fight Club set a record with 8 tough guys showing up on Friday.
The Thang:
5 Stations (Heavy Bag, 3 Mit work stations, kettle bells or merkin stations)- Everyone rotated once through the stations for a 2 minute circuit with 45 seconds to go to next station. After everyone went once we split into two groups.
One group was lead by Argonaut for some Mary. The second group went to the ring. 2 rounds for 1:45 seconds in the ring, then switch to glove and pad work. Flap jack, group two went to do some mary while group 1 went to the ring.
Go showing today, many thanks to Argonaut for brining three other guys (Honeymoon, Peppermint, Gold Digger (FNG))out with him. All guys looked and acted like they have thrown a few punches before. I had the pleasure of getting in the ring with Honeymoon, if it was a straight street fight I might have lasted 10 seconds.
Thanks to all that came out, as you probably saw that this is a different workout, and time flies quickly.

Great work by all. The smell of bacon while running down Elm was tempting to go explore, but we stayed the course. Everyone was getting after it today.
Today was a reminder for me to always look back to make sure no one is left behind, please all do the same.
Always a pleasure to lead.

Always a pleasure to lead, not much chatter I heard out there than the typically Mic Check ball busting. Everybody kicked ass and kept up today. Great to see Vuvuzela and Milwaukee back it has been a while, impressive that Milwaukee shows up when he lives uptown/downtown whatever you call it.

5 men arrived to Fight Club with a cool breeze blowing and quickly disappeared when we started. The cool breeze suddenly returned during COT.
The Thang:
Warm up lap around lake
With 5 guys, we had one being our timer with a lap around the lake while 4 guys were either holding sparring mits or punching the mits. Switch until everyone gets a lap around lake.
We all took a lap around the lake, stopping at building one for 20 merkins, then stopping at building two for 20 alternating toe
Back to hitting/holding mitts while cycle through another round (lap around lake)
Sparring time (2 spare, while 2 are doing pad work, 1 lap runner)….did a few rounds of that and called it a day.
Another great Fight Club workout. Welcome back Haggis from the two week visit to the homeland.

Well another Monday morning arrived and 6 men arrived for the typical Fight Club beat down. Pretty much the same every week, we hit things, run some, do merkins, do marry, then we square off against each other. Before we spare Foley always does his best Apollo Creed impressionation in Rocky III with a “Ding, Ding”
This week we welcomed site FNG Ickey Shuffle and FNG Backstroke. Backstroke is another young gun getting ready to start his freshman year at NC A&T. Backstroke and Croft seemed to enjoy sparring one another. Ickey Shuffle had some skills picked up from the local YMCA heavy bag work.
Always a pleasure to lead….
