Today is May 4th and I’m sure there were some F3 workouts themed “May the Fourth Be With You”. Dorks. Not #F3Hydra. 12 showed to see what the #OlAlabamaBlackSnake was all about. I don’t think it disappointed. Just glad Bounce and Gloss were there in case someone needed some mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

This will be short. Nothing funny happened. Nothing. I expected more from Gloss, Bounce, Poptart and Hops. Bounce tried to be funny and say some crude things about my wife. When nobody laughed he just tucked back into his shell. #awkward The same aforementioned PAX pretty much led the whole time on #OABS with the exception of Bounce. Deep Dish was out ahead in my group most of the time which might surprise some? The jury is still out #PED’s. Have to give crap to MAD and Frosty Paws only bc they cut the last lap short. The #OABS will get even the best of the #ruckers? #rucksters? Ah hell whatever. Welcome back to Operation get your lungs right boys. The loop was exactly a mile, and with some other shenanigans, most got in 3.5 miles today. Can’t remember who the WD was (Maybe Jet Fuel?) but I was the WB at 36. #sad

There were a few funny things that happened, though not as funny as the name of the workout. You are a piece of work Spackler.
As for Deep Dish and PED’s, he was the WD which lends even more credence to your suspicion.
Funniest, yet also most unsettling moment for me, was when Pop Tart asked someone if they needed a spot on the Rosalita’s
Queen and Pop Tart also had a couple one on one races in the sprints. Queen won decidedly
Semi-Gloss and Deep Dish were Refuseniks on a few things… Nothing new

My utterly useless encyclopedic movie knowledge has helped me crack the code of Spackler’s workout name today. Check out “Full Metal Jacket” and the priceless exchange between the African American Marine and Vietnamese hooker. Did not even use YouTube to figure it out. #mysterysolved
I’m not sure how this relates to the above thread, but I was born and raised in Alabama too. I remember some aggressive water moccasins down there, but I won’t be commenting on the OABS name. I’ll leave that alone.
Enjoyed the 3.5 ish miles and the 2nd F today. Didn’t need my gloves – just slowed me down. Someone asked me how long I’ve been posting, as I’m not a regular at Hydra. 18 months. And back then a 2 mile run was a PR. And that was miserable. Not that I am breaking any speed or distance records (still stuck in the six) but F3 has really helped with my fitness, so thanks gents. And thanks for the Q Spack.
