One Eye 500 – Centurion Edition

22 strong posted in the gloom at Centurion for an unexpected, but highly effective WIB like beat down. Here’s what we did:

  • 5:30 – COP – SSHx20, IWx20
  • Centurion mile – run up Little, right on Carmel, right on 51, right on Johnston, right on Walsh, right at the parking deck
  • Assorted Mary while waiting on the six
  • Mosey to the parking deck for the main event – The One Eye 500 – 5 rounds of 5 exercises (burpees, air presses, merkins, squats, LBCs), 20 reps each exercise and then run to the top of the deck and down the center staircase
  • Assorted Mary while waiting on the six
  • Centurion half mile – run down Walsh, left on Johnson, left on 51, left on McMahon, left on Little, left at parking lot
  • COT

Moleskin

Strong group of PAX today. YHC has not been out to Centurion since early in my F3 days.  Great AO.  Definitely wanted to find a way to use the parking deck.  Mumble chatter was at a minimum – which means the workout was just hard enough. The 5 sets of 20 Burpees was definitely a crowd pleaser.  Strong group of Larry Birds – Rachel, About Time, Chelms, missing a few – that’s what happens when you are leading from the middle…  Was an honor to lead at Centurion today.  Thanks to Chelms for lending me the keys.

Aye.

I like your Centurion Mile better. The regular one comes thru the front entrance but requires us to run the ramps. Still don’t understand the WIB concept – that was pretty much like every Friday at Centurion – a whole lot of pain. Swiper up next so the schedule doesn’t get any easier.

Margo is Q for Ronald McDonald House.

Actually, Thin Mint up next and then Swiper. What was I thinking scheduling these four (Alf, One Eye, Thin Mint, Swiper) back to back to back to back? Turrible. And Thin Mint will be looking to get some pay back after his last Q when it was just he, himself, and his weinke.

Also, please keep Lorax and his family in your prayers as his father just passed away.

That was a serious Beatdown. Expected nothing less when I saw One Eye.
Checkpoint was another Larry Bird. He and Bout Time lapped me, so I had a good view….

The One Eye 500 was rough. 20 Burpees at a time hurts & x5 is just evil. Sign-up Genius link for Ronald McDonald House volunteer event Margo has organized is here: http://f3nation.com/2017/01/20/f3-centurion-serve-219-ronald-mcdonald-house/
