All-Stars out for the #VQ

Great #VQ led today by Peacock, 21 PAX rolled up, a real star studded cast today and we rolled out right on schedule. After a slight detour down the stairs Peacock found his way to the track and the workout began.

THE THANG:

Lap 1: ascending merkins at each corner 5-10-15-20 – Plank for the 6.

Lap 2: Repeat ascending Merkins, add Monkey humpers

Lap 3: Repeat Merkins, Monkey humpers, add LBC’s

Lap 4: Repeat Merkins, Monkey humpers, LBC’s add burpees

Lap 5: 10 Merkins each corner to finish.

Mosey out of the valley, wall sits for a 20 count, 5 minutes of Mary and that was time.

MOLESKINE:

S/O to Skywalker for braving the cold, good to see some love for Peacock on his VQ, insider knowledge says Q was a little nervous if he was going to be able to complete his own workout but he did just fine. When in doubt skip the burpees.

Joker skipped the 5 minutes of Mary, he said “Spring break is over who am I trying to impress”

Suspect end time for the workout, rumor has it a late bowel movement may have caused an early COT!

All in all, it was great to see a hard working group enjoying the pain and supporting their brother. That’s what it’s all about. Great lead Peacock you’re a stud.

Good job Peacock – that was sneaky tough.

I was wondering what your plan was at the end when you circled us up with 10 mins to spare. Seemed like you were setting yourself up for some serious heckling.

Then you went and #sidesourced the exercises and cut the whole thing 4 mins short so you could go home and take a grumpy?

Crazy like a fox.

Halfway to the baseball fields, VQ asks: “where’s the track?” A few southern gents out front pointed him in the right direction. Kinda feel like @SemiGloss needs to take some sort of responsibility for that.

Solid VQ with a big group, @Peacock

Hey, wait another min . . .

Did Dollywood write this backblast?

So we now have Delegated backblasts AND Mary? Is Death Valley now a full service AO?

Good work out there this morning Peacock.

It’s great to see young guns like Dollywood and Peacock leading workouts. And it certainly helps bring down the average PAX age, with old guys like Stone Cold and Skywalker in the mix. Speaking of Stone Cold, I’m going to have to throw a penalty flag on those white compression undergarments that he exposed us to this morning.

And I just noted above that Fireman Ed has been renamed to Farmer Ed… I actually like the change and plan to stick with it. Farmer Ed it is.

Lots of requests to see the Wooly Vest today. Sorry lads, but she has been winterized until November or so. I’d be willing to arrange for special viewings upon request.

Well done Peacock. Had us a little worried during the initial mosey to the track, but more than made up with an abundance of pain during the Laps. Great crew out there this morning.

Great lead Peacock!! Fist bumps only as you take 3 dumps in the gloom and keep your hands down your pants to keep them warm! Never will I shake your hand before 6:30am.

Great job this am!

Great workout, but way too much mumble chatter in the dark debating the proper form to use when humping a monkey…#awkward!
