Have iPhone, will travel

18 men of F3 wandered out of the fartsack and into the DMZ this morning. Here is how they were rewarded:

Mosey to Carmel middle school
COP In Cadence
SSH x 25
Squats x 20
Merkins x 15

Count by Threes
1) 6 Burpees in parking lot
2) Bearcrawl up ramp to top of steps
3) From top of steps, Derkin on each step coming down to parking lot
Cycle thru 2 of each station

Mosey to Hill by ball fields
11’s with 1 Squat at bottom, 10 Burpees at top; to 10 Squats and 1 Burpee.
Plank waiting for Pax to finish-

Mosey to back wall of school
People’s Chair, random leg lifts
Wall Derkins- Stick feet against wall 6 bricks off the ground, Derkins in cadence x 5.
Move feet up 6 more bricks, more Derkins in cadence x 5.

Mosey to front parking lot, Partner up.
Partner carry across lot, flapjack back.
Wheelbarrow across lot, flapjack back.
Leg throw downs x 20, flapjack.
Partner Derkins x 20, flapjack.

Indian Run to CAC lot for Pusharama.
Merkins x 10 IC
Diamonds x 10 IC
Wide Arms x 10 IC

People’s Chair w Air Presses x 25.
LBC x 25
Heels to Heaven x 25
Bicycle x 25
LBC x 25

Moleskin
YHC knew we had a challenge when the Pax could not form a Circle at COP. #monday
After the Polygram of Pain, things went downhill fast. Staircase Derkins are always a crowd pleaser, especially when followed by 11’s w Burpees. Wall Derkins were just the icing on the cake.
Hadn’t done an Indian Run at DMZ in a while; with 18 Pax it’s a longer sprint.
Great work by everyone this morning. Some of the usual suspects were Larry Birds on the 11’s- Looking at you Hamlet and Agony, among others. Respect your elders –

Q’s: Consider an armband iPhone carrier. $16 from Walmart, and didn’t shake or interfere with my workout at all. Burpees, SSH, wheelbarrows not a problem. We were 1/2 mile from the cars right out of the gate, and we know now that medical emergencies can strike any of us at any time.

Great takeout as usual by Hops.

The armband is a great idea. For those looking to be a little more discreet AND get an extra bit of protection for the justifier, I go with the UA compression shorts with cup pocket. Though, it was pointed out that doesn’t necessarily encourage use of the phone if I happen to be the one needing assistance.

Arm band, cup pocket, fanny pack, or zip lock–carry how you wish. Just make sure you carry.

Your methods may be a little too discreet, but it brings to mind a potential business idea.. have you contacted Apple to gauge their interest in producing a curved phone suited for UA compression shorts… could be a gold mine…

I’ve already trademarked iCrotch. Waiting for the bidders to come knocking.

Ask for wiring instructions first. Have you learned nothing from Nigerian diplomats?

If you and I are ever in a situation where you are going to die unless I call for help, and you have the only phone. It was nice knowing you brother . . .

Strong Q Snowflake. The 11’s were especially painful…of course, anything with lots of burpees is brutal for me. Dodging the fire ant hills added to the degree of difficulty.
T-claps to Hannibal as well who was flying on the bearcrawls and out front on the 11’s, too.
And my man Toucan is all over it. Only been posting for a couple weeks and is posting 8 days per week!
TML on Q next week in the DMZ.

Toucan’s greatest feat of the day was partner carrying Big Top. #GirdUp
Apparently they used to work together which explains why BT was singing “Reunited” to carry him through.
I on the other hand chose wisely partnering with Hannibal.

Bushwood was so fast on the 11’s that I demanded a recount.

I thought Hops and Agony were going to Qjack during COP.

Glad Steinbrenner is back out there and staying warm too. He may have overheated during COT.

Great Q Snowflake!

Rename for Big Top & Toucan to Peaches & Herb respectively? This should happen.

My motive for the COP movement towards the Q was 2-fold:
1) Our circles during COP’s are way too big at DMZ and other AO’s – I like to be closer in to point out poor form and be better able to make fun of pax members when necessary
2) Just giving Snowflake some grief…but Agony pointing away from aforementioned Q during the merkins was just weird

Armband great call not only extra level of secuirty. Saves us that 5 minutes of cot twiddling as we wait for the Q to rummage through his car to remember everyone’s name.
That is what threw off my COT count off ability….yeah that’s it.

Malko is excited to offer one in the mud gear shop shortly I bet.
